I really enjoyed the battle but one thing that annoyed me personally is Indiana Jones implying they copied him even though tintin was serialised between 1929 and 1986 and indy didnt exist before raiders in 1981 so if anything tintin should have been the ambush character. Undisclosed youth (also I really like the steven spielberg tintin movie)

Fun fact: in France and Belgium, when Raiders of the Lost Ark was released, a lot of people said Spielberg ripped off Tintin. Spielberg just didn't know who Tintin was, and was so intrigued he asked his secretary/assistant to buy him Tintin comic books. That's when he became a fan, put Tintin elements in Temple of Doom and make the 2011 movie (who was really good for what I remember)

Why do you say unalived the only reason people say that is to not get demonetized it’s not like people are scared of people saying died

My favourite line is "Call Hergé to write Tintin's last adventure" because it bas a double meaning. First, the obvious one where Nathan says he's gonna end Tintin. Second, a reference to the fact that Hergé died before finishing Tintin's last adventure, who's technically unfinished because Hergé's widow always opposed to someone else to finish the album (which didn't stop releasing it)

Yeah, there’s definitely some content in the Tintin comics that hasn’t aged the best. To be fair, the author generally tried to do his research, and in most cases his depictions of foreign cultures are a lot more sympathetic and respectful than most other stuff published in that time period, but it’s still pretty dicey by modern standards, and some of the oldest Tintin stories were bad enough that the author himself hated them and had them pulled from publication.

Actually some comics, especially the later books (like the Castafiore Emerald and Flight 714) aged pretty well and are actually kinda progressive for that period, when you think about it. His early stuff though… yeah didn’t age so well, the original Tintin in the Congo is pretty problematic by any standards.

Tintin movie was good, however I will say you'll have to have read the books in order to actually see the good in the movie. Obviously people who have read the Tintin books will understand the verses a lot more but they still go hard.

So during WW2, Tintin’s writer originally was critical of Nazi Germany… until Belgium was taken, where he became much less political, and I think he saved the life of a certain German dictator at one point (that might be fake, I don’t have a flawless source for this). And undisclosed youth!

"Be a good dad and actually give two shits, wouldn't want Cass to turn out like you did." Cassie is Nate and Elena's daughter. She was introduced in the final sequence of Uncharted 4. She's named after his mother, Cassandra Morgan. The line about his identity being stolen is a reference to the reveal that Nathan Drake isn't his real name. He made up the story about being the descendant of Sir Francis Drake.
