Ok...I'm gonna say it, get rid of Satty. This offense stinks under his leade....watch, it's not leadership. Raiola was a beast upon arrival, then he met a troll that lived under a bridge in whom he took tutelage. Instead of PROgressing, this awesome QB started REgressing because of said troll. It bothers me how much of this game was put onto Dylan’s shoulders. From everything we’ve heard and based on our success with the run game last year, Dylan’s job was to come in and make the passing game a THREAT, not the end all be all of this offense. 44 throws by a freshman qb on the road vs a top 20 team is a recipe for disaster. I want to say that it was from being down and trying to play catch up, but like you guys said we didn’t even attempt to get a run game established. This is one of many times the last 2 seasons where we hear that we want to run the ball, but then we sling it around all day. It drives me nuts when we go 3 and out on three pass plays. I am super disappointed with the run game this year. Figured it would at least be as efficient as last season…. Considering we brought every lineman back along with Emmett, Gabe, and adding dowdell.

Totally agree about Dylan. Way too much was put on his shoulders, we did NOT do him any favors, he should have been taken out of the game midway through the 3rd quarter. All we did was hurt his confidence and possibly his body yesterday. We should have tried something different at qb. It's absolute bs that this staff kept Dylan on the field so long. It wasn't helping Dylan as far as I'm concerned it was only hurting him. He was already shaken up and we just kept putting him back out there side.

Which positions specifically are we “more talented at”? QB? Not today DR had multiple turnovers, RB? Not even close, fumbles and can’t run north and south. WR/TE? Outside of Fidone catching the ball, can’t block or get separation or run routes. OLine? Yeah right, DLine? Where was the pass rush or gap integrity? Back 7? Can’t tackle, make pursuit angles, make plays on the ball. Which position are we better at?

From a business perspective, one could make an argument that none of the decision makers actually put success (on the field) of the program at the forefront. It seems like a defunct consumer product and the business model is to continuously re-brand and suck every last dime out of every remaining customer until they have to declare bankruptcy. As husker fans, we are the consumers and we continuously buy-in to any changes being made, and they appease us for a few years until they can’t, then we “re-brand.” I watched until midway of second quarter. That was enough for me. I checked in after the game was over, wasn’t surprised. Wasn’t surprised. Literally zero emotional reaction whatsoever. I’ve been a fan for 35 years. If others are feeling the same way as I am, we could be in serious trouble. Hopefully I’m more apathetic than most. From reading the comments, I probably am not.

After Indiana’s QB hurt his thumb, he was essentially a non-threat for down field passing. At least for the time being. How did everyone at home know they were going primary to the run and our inept coaching staff made no adjustments? Not a single “hey, QB’s thumb is fucked, stack the box for the run” from upstairs? This is the dumbest commentary I’ve ever heard. The better players on the field? IU has better 3rd string RB than Nebraska’s starter. IU’s backup QB is better than Raiola. Indiana absolutely shit on Nebraska and everyone that watches Nebraska is in denial about how bad the team is. It’s not coaching its players and IU has more talent on the bench in many positions than Nebraska’s starters. And before anyone argues… 56-7 backup QB all second half. 4 different RBs scored touchdowns against that great rush defense. Nebraska sucks! Accept it.

Nebraska is a good team, on the verge of turning things around, and the future looks bright. They look like a 7-8 win team that will go bowling. You're just not a 9 win team quite yet. 2024 will be a year to build on and I wouldn't dwell on the past decade (it's in the past). I personally look forward to Nebraska returning to a perennial Top 25 team because college football is better with a strong Nebraska program in the mix. As for IU, it's looking good, but it also remains to be seen if IU is a 9-10 win team. Now some specific comments about IU to hopefully lend a bit more perspective to a disappointed fan base. IU's level of offensive talent and experience is deceptive. They spread the ball around and employ 3-4 RBs every game -> as a result, no single player racks up big stats. This reflects a team with a lot of depth. Maybe their transfers weren't anointed with 4* or 5* H.S. rankings, but they all share a common thread ->highly productive in their previous college programs and in multiple cases were all-conference players. Rourke (QB) is now both a Heisman candidate and legitimate second-day NFL prospect. The back-up QB is a former 4* who transferred from Tennessee. The O-Line is experienced, big, and physical. An offense that hasn't been held below 40 points since week 1 isn't a fluke. Leading up to the game Nebraska had the 7th rated defense. If you scrolled down just a little bit more you'd find IU clocking in as the 14th rated defense. IU's defense is not chopped liver and when combined with their lethal offense, this isn't a game Nebraska fans should have discounted as a tough but likely winnable game. IU fans are obviously excited about the year so far, but we aren't getting in front of our skis. Several years ago IU was in a similar position and right on the fringe of a BCS bowl game (then Michael Penix got hurt). On a side note, You keep talking about UCLA as a threat. You realize IU went on the road and throttled UCLA 42-13, right? Seems like a disconnect to worry about UCLA but take IU for granted. Either way, I'd be very surprised if this game isn't a Nebraska win.

Dylan, soft slow feet, floats passes, when pressured throws repeatedly into the dirt, being stuck with a freshman possibly four year starter is a burden and hinders program growth, Adrian was fine, just not four years of fine, Look at k state Ohio state etc and how they roll,
