You see, I went into this reaction expecting the usual hand banging or what have you. Instead you shared your own feelings on the topic, your own experiences, and your continuing issues. I have to say you are a braver man than I could ever be. Thank you for your service and best of wishes in the future.

I recommend watching the Sabaton History Channel video about Audie Murphy too. It gives some great insight into how they researched Audie's history, even incorporating one of his poems into the song itself. Also, during one of their previous tours, they visited Audie's grave at Arlington and met his son at one of their concerts. My personal favorite song of theirs is "Screaming Eagles" about the 101st Airborne Div. at the Siege of Bastogne. My grandpa served in the 101st during WW II, including the siege.

I would also like to give my love & sympathies to the brave servicemen and women who are currently battling with PTSD after coming home from overseas. Great reaction mate to the song and video about a Texan and American Hero. Audey Murphy was bigger than life and his story is an inspiration to us all and generations to come. He was my mum's favourite actor. I love his film " The Red Badge of Courage " which is one of my all time favourites. I wish you well mate and all the best, take care and stay safe. 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

@@acowboyreactstometal, Thanks for your reaction! I'm sure that Audie would have really liked what you said. Yes, No Name on the Bullet is incredible. The "Physician" was played by Charles Drake, whom Audie wanted for the part of his buddy Brandon in the film To Hell and Back. When I watch this film, it's so hard to watch Audie replay Brandon's death. Audie was literally dragged back into his war feelings while making that film, except the director is saying "Cut! Let's try that scene again..." There's another film, Gunsmoke, where Charles Drake again plays a buddy to Audie. Gunsmoke is dismissed by most critics, but I think it's a great story, and he's great in it. Thanks again for your heartfelt reaction:)

This is what a reaction video is supposed to look like. I hope you'll do more Sabaton cause they have a lot of good songs. But to fully appreciate the song you have to do a little bit of research of what the song is about before reacting to it. Cheers from Sweden!

Hey man I like your videos! I'd be happy to recommend plenty of metal. Rammstein and Disturbed both had new albums relatively recently (Try Puppe or Reason to Fight if you want some feels) Gojira is badass and trippy, Tool is iconic, Nightwish's Ghost Love Score gets lots of views... just some ideas off the top of my head

you need to check out their newer stuff.. their new album is dropping on the 19th and it's all about World War 1. Fields of Verdun, Great War and Red Baron have been released as singles.. and then there's Bismarck that was released as a stand alone signal. All of them have great videos and the songs are mindblowing

It sucks to have darkness in the past. I'll drink to you and sgnt. major. I've always seen sabaton as a eulogy of war more than anything else. The most depressing one to me has always been kzitem.info/news/bejne/zqVpyZhni5ykrWk which is kinda why it's my favorite. I kinda want to spread it (it's not my channel) because so many seem to think they glorify war. I've always felt the opposite from their songs. They glorify the cost the people in it pay. Even the old sagas remembered that.

Hopefully their new album will be as good as "The Art of War" from 2008. Based on the music videos already released from the upcoming album, I'm not so convinced. P.S. If you can tolerate non-English vocals, you might like this Finnish heavy metal: Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus - Lumessakahlaajat | Finnish & English Lyrics kzitem.info/news/bejne/l5B9youAfKyWraQ I tells about those Finns that had to abandon their homes in Karelia during the war between Finland & The Soviet Union.
