OldSkuleNerd About the hype those over 500k Polish people had over a song about german panzer division, I as Pole myself can think of two main reasons: 1. It was an opening song for Sabaton on that concert. 2. You have to remember 7th panzer Division was headed (at the time they are singing about, meaning invasion of France) by Erwin Rommel who was German but clearly not a nazi. Because let's be fair not every german during WW2 was a nazi and commited war crimes etc.

Greetings from South Dakota. You talked about how Sabaton is great at telling stories in their songs. Their entire album Carolus Rex is basically a story of the Swedish empire from 1630-1719. I would love you to react to some of the songs from the album, but I think that it would be best for you to react in the order that they are placed in the album. Because the album's songs are placed in chronological order. So I would love you to react to Lion From the North, the first song on the album. And work your way through Swedish History. PS Your Finnish friend would find it interesting since it is his country's history as well. Finland was part of Sweden until 1809.

Yes, this is full of irony, but you can think about it this way: 1. This panzer division doesn't exist anymore, we Poles do. It's almost like dancing on enemy's grave. ;) 2. It's Sabaton!!! Irony 2. Kostrzyń, where Woodstock festival (now Pol&Rock Festival) is organized, before 1945 was in III Reich teritorry. From wiki "The suburb Alt-Drewitz (modern Drzewice, one of Kostrzyn's boroughs) contained a Nazi POW camp, Stalag III-C Alt-Drewitz, used mostly for American, French, Soviet, and Italian prisoners of war. In 1943-45 the town also housed a number of German forced labour camps and a sub-camp of Sachsenhausen concentration camp".

If you went to a Sabaton/Priest concert and came back without the need to write stuff on a notepad to make up for your missing voice you did it wrong! Sabaton is my favorite band for a reason. They have a way to tell a story that can make me see the events in mind like a well written book, and I love the music as well, I have been a 80's kid at heart for years and their sound takes me back to those days as well.... so, since there's more tickets to buy, feel free to get me one too :P PS: You really need to see whole concert, the energy just never goes down, it probably the most hype show I've ever seen. Hope to see them sometime in the next years. I listen to many genres of metal from pretty technical, brutal and very fast. Sabaton might not be the most technical band but their purpose in doing music is not that. Their sound is not original but I enjoy the meaning and passion they put out. If I want want to listen to more extreme and progressive stuff there is a bunch of bands just for me. I like these guys and their lyrics touch me because they talk about stuff that so many bands will never touch. It's ok not all bands should have lyrics that captivate you with a story! Sabaton songs that I really love are Stalingrad and Cilffs of Gallipoli! If you want to listen to a song that has not many request you can try this one if your mind wants it : The band Ostura with the song Only One. No pressure! Good day in the Cajun State! Greetings from North of the Border!

OSN when I deployed I lost 15 months I know how you feel with losing time lol. I'd suggest checking out Static X. I lived off of them when I was in country. And I highly suggest checking out Trivium.

You should also have a look at other Sabaton songs about Polish history played in Poland like "40:1" or "Winged Hussars". 😎

Thank you! I requested this video in response to your comments in the Uprising reaction video about it not counting in the crowd reaction competition due to it being a song about Polish heroism in a Polish concert. So, same concert, same people, 180° different song subject. . . How did they score this time? 😁

I really miss going to see live music. I have a Rammstein ticket that has been postponed for two years now. I have seen Sabaton live twice, and both times were great. I want to feel the music resonate through my whole body. Being 50 years old and really overweight I can not really be in the middle of the crowd. I once found myself in the middle of a moshpit during a Cradle of Filth concert and I think it nearly killed me. Man this is a lot of incoherent and stupd ramblings from me. But what I really want to say is that i really miss seeing bands live...

Great reaction as usual man. Your honesty in your reactions is why I subscribed to your channel. A couple songs with a deep meaning that you should react to are Wishing Wells by Parkway Drive. As well as Blackbird by Alterbridge, and I think this one can be done on throwback Thursday but I'm not 100% sure

Even though Ghost Division is a bold choice to start in Poland, I would argue it would be even more bold when they do it in France. Yes the German panzers was a major thing in poland, but it was in the West that the name Ghost division was made. When Rommel and his 7th panzer division, was leading the charge in such a way that neither friend or foe could keep up or knew where they were. A band that to me in some way are similar to Sabaton is Rammstein, you have the deep voice, the Rolling R's and Till Lindemann also hammers his the "The Till Hammer" because of an knee injury so he had to put his knee cap back in place so he started hammered it with his fist, and then later on it became a part of his show. Also Till is quite buffed just as Joakim is :) Yes Rammstein sings in German, yes it is other topics, and different music. Oh and Rammstein goes totally ape shit when it comes to firework, and are amazing live. To me, just because something is "simple" it does not mean that it is bad, and just because something is very difficult does not auto qualify it as superior.

Got nervous for a second when you said "When he goes to sleep at night..." when talking about Joonas, lol All of those D&D people are great people, i am completely lost at the whole D&D thing, but it's a great time watching the streams (Which i forgot was on Twitch last night)

Sup OSN. Now you talked to much about requests, I feel I should throw one of my favorites in the hat. And I have 3 reasons why you should do: Sabaton - Saboteurs 1. It's in my humble opinion one of the most underrated songs Sabaton has ever done. 2. It's about of the most important events during the second WW. And yet it's one of the most untold stories. 3. It's a really really great story, about some men with balls the size of damn grapefruits. 4. (You get this one for free) As a Scandinavian my self, the story of the WW2 saboteurs are very close and dear to me. To me they are some of the biggest heroes during the war. No one asked them to get involved, but they felt they had to. They did it cause they knew it was the right thing. So there we go. Lets go together, and find out why the Nazies didn't get "The Bomb" done before the allies in WW2. Keep up the good work, and good luck with the upcoming concert. Fingers X'ed it's gonna happen.

Hi young guy. Requesting Blind Guardian, Sacred - My favorite video game Sacred 2 has music from this band in it. Also you do a quest with them to recover their instruments, where you then get to watch them in concert with all the monsters in the game. Was super cool scene and let me feel like I was helping them out. Also a huge DnD fan who has played the game since 1976.

Old skule nerd did you know that at the Sweden rock festival, Sabaton usually sings the Swedish national anthem on June 6, which is Sweden's national day, just a fun thing to know, I think there are some videos on this on KZitem
