Nice reaction…the song definitely brings an elevated meaning in the context of the band’s history. This song was after the death of founding member and guitarist Tom Searle (brother of drummer Dan). Hereafter is another track with a similar meaning, definitely worth checking out along with their back catalogue. On a side note, you should also check out the replacement guitarist (Josh Middleton) other band Sylosis…anything of Cycle of Suffering would be a good place to start

As another below stated this was their first track released after the loss of original member & guitarist Tom Searle (also twin brother of drummer Dan Searle). They've made some very poignant & emotionally driven stuff due to this of course, but to get a true idea of their "most popular sound"... I would delve into their slightly older material. The lyrical content particularly is always incredible with Architects. I'd highly recommend "These Colours Don't Run" (has an official lyric video) or the track "Gravedigger"...which does not have an official lyric video, but it is off of their most acclaimed record "Lost Forever//Lost Together". I think a listen-through that whole record with the lyrics would be something you'd enjoy in truth. 👍

Enjoyed the reaction, it captured the feeling I had when I heard it for the first time, especially when the vocals kicked in. Really powerful stuff. The chorus is so catchy. The atmosphere throughout the song is amazing. It's technical, intense, emotional, and moving. I really like how the song is structured. The production quality is super nice, at least to my ears, as a casual listener of music. I'm going to admit that their new stuff isn't my style. I'm mainly familiar with their 2016 album "All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us" which is really good and in this vein. I recommend the song Deathwish from that album!
