I can’t wrap my head around the fact that you completed it in one day. That’s such a feat. It took me 11 and I was proud of that hahaha. Honestly I had to take breaks and physically step away from the book at times. Not sure that I’d tell people to go read it but it’s definitely a favourite of mine.

I read this book in the beginning of this year after having it in my shelf since 2017... Lets say I'm glad I read it when i did and not earlier. It certainly is a heavy read but it also is such a beautiful story. I know some people think that it is overly wordy but I love that and totally agree with you about the character-descriptions. Reading it fast is probably the best option honestly, for me it took all my awake time and even concentrating in school became almost impossible. I am already contemplating reading it again since i can't find any other book like it but I think it will have to wait

Brilliant review, you described what I struggled to do, that it's the way that the supporting characters lived and struggled with the events affecting the ones they love...so well written too

I'm almost at part three. I haven't cried yet but I do have to say it's written so so beautifully. I might be a bit more used to hearing devastating stories like this one or worse because I'm a social worker myself but I sure can imagine this book is devastating if you are sensitive or new to the subjects Jude and the other characters are dealing with. Loved your video ❤️

I live in the US and have 2 paperback copies (one is a signed copy), 1 hard copy (signed edition as well) and the audiobook version as well That's just how much this book had an impact on me and how much i love this story... Right now, i'm re-reading some parts of the book, just jumping around my favorite parts and just reliving the moments of Jude's life with his friends, his traumas and the effects of those traumas in his life not because i find joy in reading about people mentally and emotionally struggling but because this story is so moving and something about the way the author wrote this book keeps pulling me in.. 😭 I would LOVE to get this book cover version though.. although idk where i could get one tho since it's a British book cover 😭

My mum spent a few days in France but the flight between Paris and where I am in the UK is about 90 minutes so she picked up the bread before getting on the flight and then brought it home for me! If it makes you feel any better, I do own bookmarks, I just forget to use them😂
