Great job! Thank you for all of your time in creating and translating! I just have a question. When I am trying to read something in Arabic, for example the newspaper “Al-Ahram”, I notice that the language is not written in this type of Egyptian Arabic, like your article in this video. It seems like the newspaper is written in a more MSA type of way (modern standard Arabic). Another example of this; when I watch the news on Egyptian tv the journalist is speaking the same way that Al-Ahram is written, like Modern Standard Arabic, it is not in this type of Egyptian Arabic as this video, even though the news is Egyptian or the newspaper is Egyptian. Am I right in this ? I unfortunately am someone who only knows how to speak and understand Egyptian Arabic only, I cannot speak or understand a more formal way or Modern Standard Arabic. What are your thoughts on this? Why do they do this? Thanks so much!

Thanks! Yes, your observation is 💯 correct. The news is written in Modern Standard Arabic. This (what you see in the video) was part of a book I wrote that consists of news articles in Egyptian Arabic. That's an odd idea in the Arab world.
