Dave, I like how you and Dawn do things. Everything seems to be well thought-out and thoroughly planned, which I think gives a person the best chance for success. Good preparations for the upcoming calving.

Charlie; thanks for the compliment but it’s really a matter of having been on this farm so long that we’ve had a chance to refine our processes. We’re building on a system started by my dad on his farm in the ‘50’s.

@@brenterickson1695Commercial peas are usually up by the time I go to LeSueur. One freak year I planted with frost 8 inches down. Turned out really good.

Morning Dave, coffee is hot,and the bovines are getting closer to bringing new life to you and Dawn. Sleepless nights are just days away,but the rewards seem to always be greater than the sacrifices. Lots of good soft straw,water and the care that y’all give them I’ll go out on a limb and predict a good calving season.
