Emma, thank you so much for your wonderful English lessons. I am Polish, I come from the south of Poland, from the mountains. However, I live i the capital city of Poland, in Warsaw. I love listening to this language performed by you. You have a lovely timbre of voice. Every day I listen to you. I listen to some of the lessons several times a week. You are a great teacher. In Poland, I am a music teacher. I wish you were my real teacher. However, not everything is related to life. I greet you very warmly and I look forward to your next English lessons. Bye

I thought (long weekend) means: * that you have a busy weekend with home tasks for example repairing, painting the walls, cleaning..etc so you didn't had the chance to relax. * or when get into problems with your neighbours or your spouse or something similar so you was disturbed and had a bad weekend.
@fishmin8529

Typically a long weekend refers to a three day weekend. I may have heard someone use it similar to how one would use the phrase "have a long day," but it is not as common. Context is important.

Mentioning the weekend at work represents the most devastating form of workplace bullying. Why ? And How ? Because for a hard working person , with work ethic and a mindset that is academic in nature , any mention of the weekend disrupts concentration at work. It diverts from the work environment , it introduces in the mind thoughts of not working. It is devastating for a worker in the office.
