This is good stuff. I teach competition shooting. Been doing it for many years. This training is priceless. Every CCW holder should attend a course like this with QUALIFIED instructors. Truly some really good teaching. Thanks.

I've been shooting since I was I think 9 years old and I'm currently 43. And I've learned things from watching this video. Thank you for taking the time to put this together and presented as well as you have. You got my subscription with this video. 🔥🔥

Don't let the pre ignition push, flinch, get you down. The key is that it was diagnosed. Now you have to remember: Good grip. Sight alignment. Sight picture. Focus on the front sight, not the target. Smooth, straight back trigger pull. As you are pulling the trigger tell yourself, again and again, "don't push/don't flinch". Let the gun do the work. This takes practice. Consistent, accurate shooting is a discipline.✌🏽

Don't get me wrong the training, fundamentals and instructions are great. Great content. My issue is the holster set up. Your not going to open carry your firearm ever in public unless your law enforcement. Drawing from open carry is significantly different from conceal carry.

Not exactly true. I got very used to an open carry holster under my sweater that when I switched to a concealed setup with a smaller firearm I simply went for a hip draw concealed holster. My draw is 95% the same except for flipping up a t shirt. It's all about what's most natural to you and adapting your setup for it.

This is a great video for all beginner shooters (including myself). So much good info here and also basically teaching us the proper way and order to work on fundamentals and how to get better at shooting

I swear I'm not asking this in a confrontational manner, I'm genuinely curious why you're so confident this is filled with great information as a beginner? I'm not saying it's not (I haven't even watched yet), just curious what makes you know it's good? Anyways, going to watch now ☺

Nice video and good instructing. Reminds me of a book I read about teaching the handgun fight. It was a book for firearms instructors but I learned even though I don't teach. It was a firearms instructor guide book titled "Beyond the Muzzle" by a retired police firearms/fight instructor named Bettis. Not sure where I got it but a search will find it. Again, thanks for the video.

The Federal Air Marshals qualification (7 drills) is all you need to do to practice real life defensive training with the handgun. Google and practice. Master the accuracy and time of the Air Marshals Qual and you will be in the top 1% of shooters nationwide. This video is simply basic pistol shooting...not "real life defensive" training.

That is a terrible reload... Never break your grip with your strong hand its your anchor, also never break you visual on your target, learn to reload without looking atthe gun. Maybe when you first start until you get muscle memory, but your eyes should be downrange at your threat.
