I don't wanna trigger anyone by this comment, but this video is so... unreal. Like, I know, eczema has a lot of forms and everyone is different, but I think this was not the greatest example of a person with eczema. I have eczema ever since I was 1 (I'm 17 now) and the condition of my eczema has changed many times, since I've tried a lot of treatments, currently being the worst it has ever been and I must say it's not easy to live with it. This video seems like it is basically not anything, as you can barely see any patches or something like that. On the other hand, if you've seen me or other people with severe eczema, you wouldn't even say, we have the same condition as the woman in this video... I mean, if you say, that you don't let your eczema let you down, do you even have eczema? At times (or weeks, months) it is so depressing AND physically painful, how can't it let you down? You can't even sleep properly, you itch from so many things and you are not really sure from what exactly... And I haven't written anything about that, how you look with it and how it affects your social life. It is so frustrating, but this video shows it as it is the most irrelevant and easy disease in the world...

U r right ,I was born with this disease and now I am also 17 years old, I was eating steroids throughout my life but it was a temporary solution as it came back in worst conditions then it was before taking steroids,but from past 2 months I stopped taking steroids medicines and just started applying coconut oil on my whole body before sleeping,it helped me to control symptoms but didnt healed fully as I am still having eczema but in better condition it was before .It worked for me,u must try it with a little patience. Sometimes I want to just suicide due to this fckin disease but I always thought about my parents whenever this type of thought comes in my mind ☺️ Just stay positive and control diet (I am not too much good at english so ignore grammatical mistakes)

They shouldn’t have to show the worse of the worse for people to relate to this and maybe getting some form of confidence to get back into working out and not worry about it flaring on them. Not everyone has eczema like you such as my self but I’m not going to compare my eczema to you because what use is that? Taking advice from you on what I should do with my eczema is like taking advice from a dog it makes no sense since we are very different and our eczema is very different but we can relate to different people. What you say isn’t offensive just a bit ignorant because you are not the only one who suffers and if someone has eczema that’s not as worse as you doesn’t mean it doesn’t take a mental toll on them. Not everyone let’s their eczema control them, you are 17 maybe 18 now and adults who’ve had eczema their entire life have learned to deal with it mentally and ways of not letting it control them just because you haven’t been able to do that doesn’t mean others haven’t. Educate yourself please!

@@pattycarljackson I 100% agree with you. One person's experience doesn't invalidate another one's. However, I find telling someone to "educate yourself" a bit ironic, because it's somewhat playing the same game: expecting someone to do as you please.
@pattycarljackson
2 жыл бұрын
@@Nielsbaum it’s not expecting someone to do as I please. Telling someone to educate themselves about eczema and your way or how you feel and think is not the same for everyone and eczema is not the same for everyone and realizing one treatment or lifestyle is not the single most useful way to treat someone’s eczema. No matter what it is people should educate themselves about different things from reliable sources and realize everything for everyone is different and that doesn’t mean I want them to do as I do it’s just a fact that one way is not THE WAY.

I have a severe atopic dermatitis and it's getting really bad throughout the years. From 2016 till now, my hands have it and even though I'm normal physically, I can't do things like washing the dishes, do the laundry, lifting heavy objects, applying hand sanitizers or alcohol, using antibacterial soaps, excessive use of water, and other things that would irritate and create some itchy and redness if worsen. For my 20 years of existence, still the struggle goes on. Nothing to do just rely on steroid creams even though it's bad for the long run. Social life is what hinders the most. Confidence level is drastically low through an emotional breakdown. I keep praying and hoping the medical world can discover and formulate a permanent for this kind of condition.

ive also got eczema but its not as severe as others. My eczema has put many many scars on my legs just from scabs and i get asked what they are the majority of the time by people from my school and also from some of my family members. i was diagnosed with it at the age of 4 months ( im pretty sure or maybe 1)and I’m now 11. My eczema has been on my legs in the middle of my arms or on the other side of my elbows on my hands on my feet in between my thighs and calves on the back of my legs and on my butt lol. It makes me mad when people say it’s just an itch move forward but this itch will not go away until I itch it, sometimes when I have a shower the eczema can sting bc of the fresh or new scab or peeled skin that I have on my body but I continue living my life with it. :)

There is cure for eczema and it works but you have to sweat a lot most of the time because the root cause of eczema is eccess sugar on your blood and if you eat healthy but if you are not sweating you are not going to see any improvement. You have to fix this problem by fixing the root cause which is in your DNA my brother/sister. Here are the steps to fix everything at a cellular level: 1). Sweat a lot by using a sweat suit all over your body. Try to jog, jump the rope or do any cardio exercise to make you sweat a lot you are going to feel extremely itching when working out but it's okay because the toxins are coming out of your skin when you take a shower with warm water the itching will go away then when you going to finish taking a shower change the water to cold to close your pores to avoid any extra dust particles go inside your pores and cause itching or infection. 2). Drink like three cups of water and don't eat anything until 30 minutes after to give time your body to absorb all the moisture from the water so your skin is hydrated and not dry. 3). Please stop using any moisturiser, no lotion on your skin, don't put anything because we don't want your body to absorb foreign substances that will make your eczema Even worse. Leave your skin to produce its own natural oils. 4). Please eat any nuts in moderation which you are not allergic. Like : peanuts, almonds, pistachios, Avocados. Etc... As of these foods will provide moisture to your skin. 5). Eat all vegetables and fruits which are not sugary specially, green fruits like green apple, avoid fruits that are too sweet. 6). Eat lentils, beans, oats, 7). Eat chicken, fish, and very little red meat. 8). Avoid all processed foods. 9). Cook with little oil, coconut oil is the best 10). Eat corn, brown rice, 11). Try to eat four nutritious meals during the day but don't over eat. Don't eat after 7pm until 8am in the morning 12). Try to water fast twice a week and make sure to drink plenty of water during the water fast. 13). Sleep well or at least 7 hours a Day 14). Pray to God for healing. The Healing process will take years but always have faith and perseverance. 15). Avoid, dairy, greasy foods, bread, wheat, sugar, soda, juices from the store, too much salty foods, no processed foods. Among others. No alcoholic beverages 16). Take special supplements like vitamins and minerals

I had eczema really bad on my ankels when I was a little girl and it was there for YEARS until one day I put my feet in as hot of water as I could stand for 20 min 3 times a day and within a month, it was gone. I now have a patch on my inner thigh and one on my shin bone. Hard to soak those areas in that hot of water but I'm starting to dip a towel in boiling water and applying the towel to those spots only. I'll let you know how that works out.

I am experiencing eczema for over few weekss noww !! I have it around my eyelids !! Soo ; i dealt with it now naturally and improved my skin so well!! This is wht i does! Morning ; i wash my face with my facewash and then i apply homemade curd to all over my face . When it cms dry , i spray some water and leave it to dried out again ! Then again ; washed my face with water and apply pure alovera gel to the affected area for 5-6 hrs .. After that ; I applied oil to the area .. before going to sleep ; i wash my face with again face wash and apply Boroline to it !! 1 Avoid items which u r allergic to it 2 Do not leave ur home for the next few days untill ur skin gets better ! 3 drink alott off water as u can ! It helps ur skin hydrated 4 Do not use sunscreen ; it smetyms makes ur skin dry 5 Avoid coffee 6 Do not wash ur face unnecessarily This way works on me within 4-5days! I know this has been way too long but i do hope this helps honestly!
