@@maryw1778 idk where you are getting this idea. Ive done some research & find your comments baseless besides unnecessary & IMO bordering on rude, given Ashley's situation. Ashley is a thorough researcher as proven time and again on all that she shares on her channel. She has obviously done her homework on this subject & on this company. To make multiple comments bashing this company that Ashley has chosen to work with sounds rude & IMO does not have a place in this vlog

I think it's just awesome how open you are about your TTC journey. There is so much that people don't know about fertility, trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, babies and parenting. We just don't talk about these things. It's such a shame because the lack of common understanding can make it such a frightening and isolating experience, especially for women and their babies. What you're doing is moving us one step closer to a world where people, especially women, feel prepared, informed and supported and discussion of difficulties is normalized.

I waited 6.5 years and had 80+ negative pregnancy tests before I conceived my daughter, but I know how hard it was even just in the first months of infertility. It is kind of you to recognize those of us who have had longer journeys, but it's not a contest and your feeling are so valid no matter how long it has been! ❤️

Ashley, it has been almost 2 years since my loss and I can still barely talk about it, so I honestly admire how open you are being. I wanted to mention that since you’re going through tremendous effort, it would be beneficial to also look into affordable ways to test your husband for any issues. It takes two to makes a baby and you want to know if there are any other factors. I felt much better trying again once my husband had been checked. I truly hope to see a positive update from you soon and wish you the best!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble conceiving. Just wanted to share my experience. After 6 successful pregnancies I had 2 miscarriages in a row. Hi Ashley! I'm a natural family planning instructor with a background in bioethics (and also a Montessori-homeschooling parent / huge appreciator of your channel!) You should check out the Creighton Method / NaPro technology. I looked it up for you and there are seven clinics in Colorado. It is totally natural and affordable fertility care. In many cases, it is more successful than IVF, a fraction of the cost and no innocent embryos are destroyed in the process. (Not that you are looking into IVF, but I'm sure that many of your listeners may be and it is something you could speak into.) Thank you again for your channel and all of the valuable information!

Thank you SO much for sharing, Ashley. I am currently going through my second miscarriage in a row ttc baby #2 and it’s devastatingly hard. After one miscarriage, I thought a healthy pregnancy was basically guaranteed. I was shocked when I had a second. People really don’t talk about recurring pregnancy loss, which is understandable. It just makes it really tough to be going through it seemingly alone. It’s so comforting to know there are other people fighting this battle too ❤️

So very much appreciate all of your content and share it with all my parent friends. But I also wanna give a big shout out to you for being open with your pregnancy journey. Up until our parents' generation, pregnancy and all its complications have been hush-hush and it does pregnant people and their partners a disservice. When we had our loss at 26 weeks, we felt so alone. Come to find out later how common it was, but no one had talked about it, and no one opened up to me about it until many months postpartum. It was disheartening to say the least. I try now to be as open with my friends on the beauties and hardships of pregnancy and parenthood so that our generation and the next are realistic, have a load of helpful information, but can also be optimistic too. So thank you, again, for using your platform in such an enlightening way! More information is so very important. Sending love and good vibes for your next cycle.~♡♡♡

When we lost our daughter we found out that most miscarriages go unreported so the 20-30% of pregnancies is only what is reported. Our next pregnancy was 3 cycles later and resulted in twins. Things happen in mysterious ways. Having the courage to speak and share your journey is powerful and helpful. Positive thoughts for you and your family.

Once my doctor put me on progesterone, I conceived easily. I was very Thankful. My oldest is now 13 years old. I also have a 12 year old (they are 15 1/2 months apart.) Having so much trouble the first time, I did not think I would get pregnant so easily the 2nd time. Then I went on birth control for years. I went off for a few months and then got pregnant with my 3rd boy who is now 2. It was very unexpected since I was 40 at the time I conceived my last baby. We are very thankful for our 3 boys. It took me 3 years to conceive my first and only pregnancy to date, despite me undergoing several fertility treatments so I can relate to the struggles of becoming pregnant... my doctor was talking about doing IVF which I didn't want to... so I decided to take control and see what I could do, and what ended working for me was going to a fertility nutritionist and changing my diet... I learned to not undestimate the effect of anything you put in your body. After only 2 cycles I was pregnant and couldn't believe it after thousands I had spent in fertility treatments. Girl eat fruit and vegetables, and a LOT of them! Limit the dairy especifically. That would be my best advice. Wish you the best!! I've been watching your channel for years and love your videos.

My first pregnancy was also an ectopic. I nearly died and ended up losing my left tube in addition to the child. I then had three more miscarriages before the birth of my son, who is now just 3 months old. Every single loss is so hard and it makes it emotionally complicated to get that positive pregnancy test because you don’t know if it will end in joy or tears. All that to say, so really love your videos and will be sure to keep your family in my prayers!

No car air fresheners, etc. If you are doing the cleaning, always wear gloves and a face mask (even with white vinegar) to reduce exposure. Go as natural as you possibly can. Hi Ashley, have you heard or read about Stevia's affect on fertility-related hormones? I had been adding some to my drinks a couple years ago for about a week, and I noticed my period was extremely late after that when I had been regular before (and I was not active at the time). That was a red flag so lo and behold I looked into and was not alone. Just wanted to mention this in case it has been finding a way into your diet. Just one mama looking out for another. You may already be aware of this who knows. I love you and you family so much. (Coming from a complete stranger on the internet 😄) I wish you grace and strength on your journey💕 We face our darkest nights as mothers on our journey to bring forth life. It can be easier said than done sometimes but keep your playfulness in the process Ashley, that beautiful spark of life and bliss. i just want to point out with these home testing medical kits, that I find that sometimes they mislead people into thinking they are cheaper. Please first check if something like this is covered by your insurance, it's very possible it could be 100% free at a clinic or with a doctor. I do think that these are good options for the uninsured or if your insurance doesn't cover it.

Hi I've been through same and i had my first girl born premature. She died after 4 months of fighting for her life. I have now 2 girls of 12 and almost 11. To get pregnant was a problem the first 2 times, going with treatments of progesterone for 8 months First time and 3 the second. With the girls that i have i had to stay in bed all pregnancy and had a cerclage both times. First cerclage did help but even like that me girl was born a month and a half early. All this happened in Italy At 38 years old and got pregnant again and was literally terrified. I was lucky to find finally a doctor where i am now in Ireland that explained better the cerclage and we decided to go without it but on treatment with cyclogest 400. Even if scared i finally had a normal pregnancy, with walks and not confined to a bed. I am now 40 and i have a very energetic and healthy boy of almost 2 born at term. I wish i would have been able to enjoy the other pregnancies before and not be terrified every time i went to the bathroom. Don't know if this might help. Thanks for all your Montessori videos, i pick up ideas from them as i rediscover the toddler mom mode. Most of them i already applied years back with the girls but i found new interesting things thanks to you

I feel sorry and understand what you feel at the same time. We fought for a son for 2 years. It was in vitro. We fought for a second child for a year. Ectopic pregnancy. Then a frozen embryo failed attempt (chemical pregnancy) and then a miscarriage. Currently I am 8m pregnant and everything is fine. We have doctors in Poland for free, but we chose the semi-private and private path to ensure the best care. Despite the fact that we do not earn much, we could afford it. I am sorry to hear when someone who fights for a baby, as we fought, cannot support his fertility, because the state either does not help or requires privately to arrange everything and pay cosmic money ...

It took me 4 years TTC before I got pregnant with my now almost 4 yr old daughter. I've been off BC for atleast a yr. I haven't been "trying" because I went through 4 yrs of that and it took a toll on me mentally. But it hasn't happened yet. I'm 37 yrs old and debating whether to call it quits or not. I am taking prenatal vitamins and methyl folate which is what the fertility specialist had told me to do prior to my first pregnancy. I wish you luck on your journey!

Also... green clean your home if you haven't already. What I mean by that is... Get rid of fragrances (air fresheners, fragranced detergents, cleaners, etc.) Use organic cleaning products, detergents, dishwashing soap, etc. Do not use dryer sheets (get wool balls), use good old fashioned white vinegar (it works for so many things!).

Also green clean your personal hygiene products... Get rid of traditional antiperspirant/deodorant(I make my own "pit paste"), and cleansers(I use Weleda cream baby body wash with calendula), shampoos and conditioners (I use Acure now).

Look into MTHFR genetic mutations. They’re incredibly common, and miscarriages can be a sign. There are things to help, like specific prenatal vitamins, etc.

I came here to say this too.

I have one of those mutations (found out via my 23andMe test!), and had a chemical pregnancy for my first (wasn't taking any kind of prenatal vitamin at all beforehand). I have read folate vs folic acid is supposed to be better, but idk, I used the "Nature Made" prenatal.

Yes! Methyl-folate instead of folic acid. And there are probiotics to improve methylation if you have MTHFR mutations as well.

I don't think I've ever commented on KZitem before but just in case this helps you....That percentage you quote will likely be based on yearly averages and won't take into account women who have miscarried before, so please don't judge yourself against it. Best to avoid looking at stats if you can (or so I've been told!). But if, like me, you take comfort/can't resist looking into things; consider that multiple online sources state the probability of recurring miscarriage as between 1-2%. So those are pretty good odds! Best of luck and keep the Montessori videos coming, we've found them very useful over the last couple of years.

Hugs to you mama. ❤ Have you looked into the book 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' It is so insightful to everything you've ever wanted to know about your body and what it's doing! Teaches both methods for natural birth control and achieving pregnancy based on nothing more than your body's processes each month. Tons of helpful groups out there as well! Best wishes to you and your family.
