Looking to purchase a 55hp Mahindra, and I have a lot of privette to clean up along with weeds and vines. This looks like a very viable option for that, especially compared to a skid steer, like youre saying in the video.

Tractors are like Swiss Army knifes. They can do a lot of things good, but there is always better equipment for specific task. I like the versatility.

Well said Tony. Unless your doing mulching for a living, buying a skid steer and mulching head doesn't make financial sense. And the prices can be very high. Excellent points! Thank you for sharing!!

Hi Tony, thank you for the informative video. It was nice meeting you at the Southern Farm Show today. I'm still trying to convince my wife that we need the T25.😊

That looks like a great piece of equipment but I just couldn't justify the price for my small 2-3 acres that I need to clear. I am currently using the Titan 48" ditch/bank flail and chainsaw and grapple for the larger things. The flail is working pretty good for me but I'm in Florida with no rocks. It will eat up the smaller sawgrass palmeto scrub, but the bigger stuff I am having to dig out with the backhoe and grapple out to the pickup pile. It definitely has its limits. In my 8-10 hours or so of use thus far, I've gone through 4 shear bolts. Mated to 474HST. Keep up the great videos! I'm new to the tractor world and your videos have been a lifesaver because their manuals suck!

You got a compelling platform. I would do the same thing in your situation. I recommend a slip clutch. It is a little safer for your PTO system.

Looks like it works much better on the T474 than the T25. I wish someone made a smaller version but just as tuff maybe only 36 inches wide..

Hey Tony I’m curious if you still have the brush tiger 35 by Hardee? I’m considering buying one and have watched your videos on it. Enjoy your videos! Thanks Don

Hi, awesome video! I am looking to buy this exact unit but I live in hilly terrain. It is navigable but obviously side hill operation you have to be careful. I have a 46 horse tractor on a small frame and it is heavy. Lift of about 2800 lbs on the 3 point. I’m thinking it will be fine as long as care is taken on some slopes as I am experienced on heavy equipment. Your thoughts?

I think you will be fine with loaded tires.

The channel "The Kraemer Life" hired a "forestry mulcher" service... which is essentially what people are talking about when they mention a mulcher on a skid-steer type of setup. If you want to see it in action, the video is about 10 months old and titled "He's back to clear more fields (day 4)..." It is MUCH MUCH faster... but the guy provides a service. No doubt, someone could make some money doing this... but that isn't YOUR goal. You've got what you need in order to do what you want to do... but since you were saying you don't understand the logic, I thought you might want to take a look at one of these things in action.

I don't think you got the gist of video. We are developing our property. We may clear a half acre today and then plan our next move based on a lot of factors viewers can't see. I doubt a company would want to come out for a $100 worth of work at a time. That is the logic. My mulcher is here when I need it.

@@TonysTractorAdventure - well yeah... I said you got what you need for what you wanted to do... it's not like you are trying to make money doing this for others... but there is logic to buying an industrial, heavy-duty forestry mulcher. The Kraemer's are doing what you are doing but in their own way... and they brought this guy in a few times now because he can get done in 2 days what would take them 2 months. So... yeah, I got the gist. I was trying to say you are going about things in a way that is right for you... but thaqt doesn't mean there is no logic in getting equipment that could do it faster... all depends on the situation. 🙂

Does anyone have experience using one of these against Himalayan blackberries? I wonder if it would cut them off, or just wind them around the shaft.

You would only have to move in slower. We have the big green briars. They are like cable.
