Thank you. The current script might cause more troubles than convenience. I need to improve it before I can make it public.

I am using an M1 Pro MacBook Pro. It takes about a minute to do the scales for the design in the thumbnail.

3:45 you don't need to remove the profiles, you need to draw in the same drawing, where you drew the fish scale, you need to draw a semicircle there, start drawing from the fish's gills, let the line go up as the line of the fish goes, that blue profile in the middle of the fish, you go to the tail of the fish and continue to draw the lower part of the fish from the tail to the gills of the fish, so that line that you drew, when you go to extrude, it will not allow the extrude to go behind the line, that blue part of the fish allows you to extrude, and the lines can be moved a little upwards, but again that is not a solution to get a scale all over the body, but it's better than the one you showed, in this part of the video, I'm going to continue watching the video, I think you put the scale all over the body, so try to do it that way

the selected face should be drawn inside the drawing where you drew the fish scale, in short

Last metode is top and is hard 😢, I think that I will skip the fish scale on my model and take the mesh and the mosquitoes and paint the fish scale with them. it would be difficult to fit everything into each other, that's why simple mesh and painting

yo man, I spent a month correcting my mold and when I thought I was done, I realized I had to put scales and other details, I searched the internet for 3d models and realized that I have to put scales and fusion can't do that, so I discovered blender, if you've never worked in it, believe me, it's easy to learn, it's not difficult, I started today and in an hour and a half I managed to master the basics and make the first head sculpture, believe me, the blender program is amazing and ten times better than fusion, every fishing you can transfer the lures you made in fusion to blender and make them look even better@@yauckoutdoors

How did you combine the 2 half’s without holes in the geometry
@yauckoutdoors

I keep a copy of the body before making the scales, after scales are made, combine them to the original copy which was perfectly split by the center plane, so no holes. Does that answer your question?

When I combine the scaled one with the non scaled one it gets rid of the scales

"Hey but it's not me that is sweating" 😂 Love the tutorial. I've designed a few lures in Fusion but don't have a printer. Just messing around and having some fun. I didn't add any scales at the time, but I may in the future if I choose to dabble again.
