I love this video Nikole. My sons are now 16 and 21 and its lovely to get a little reminder of those early weeks/months/years! You mention such important topics about looking after your mental health and nurturing your body from the inside in those early months - I wish there had been people like you to easily access and listen to when I was a new mum!💖

I also live in the south in the winter and the north in the summer; this is new for me as well. This is my third season and I am getting into a new routine with less and less anxiety but It does trigger it for me as well. Thank you for sharing the suggestions you are doing in the new year to reduce it. I would love to hear some of them in more detail. Mental heath is so important and I am glad you are taking care of you; this will help us to be our best so don't feel guilty. I struggle with boundries being an empath and saying no as well. Your such a beautiful person inside and out! Thank you for sharing those beautiful babies! Sending you love, light and blessings!

Postpartum hormones and feelings are overwhelming. The highs and lows, I’m right there with you. I just had my 3rd, she’s 12 weeks and it’s snowing. I so wish I could get out and walk everyday with the stroller. I know how much better I would feel just to be able to walk outside. Also trying to be easy on myself with recovery. However seeing your baby smile when she hears your voice and knows you’re in the room, knowing your the most important thing to her right now overcomes all of that.

Honestly Nikole, I have had a fear of having another baby because myfirst postpartum period was so dark and traumatizing for me but you are making it look so (I don’t want to say easy) but doable and you are doing it so well. My daughter is Sages age and I feel like you have truly showed that the second newborn phase could be better and not as scary!

I just want to say I love all your videos. I'm a mom of a 1.5 year old and we are trying for a second and you have gotten me through so much of figuring out motherhood. Keep doing what you're doing and know that we all need our mental health moments. I'm in school and often feel guilty about not spending time with my baby so you're not alone. P.S. My daughter is obsessed with seeing your kids when I watch your videos with her. She points at the screen and says baby and smiles when Sage does something adorable.

Aww thanks so much Nikole, I am one month pp and also have a 4 year old. So many things you said I was like 'yep so needed to hear that', taking time to create good habits for ourselves, mental health vs gym body, mum-guilt. Also just how fast this phase goes so to make the most of it and be present! All so true and that was a great reminder. Also the Osea nightcream looks so dreamy, lavender is the best. Thanks again, have a great week! :)

I also have a daughter about the same age as Sage (and also a redhead, even though neither me nor my husband have red hair 😋), and will soon have a son (I think the age difference will be the same as with your kids), and really wondering how it's gonna go 🫣 My daughter too is super sweet and quite excited for the baby. The staff at kindergarden have already prepared her for that he may not want to play with her toys right away, as babies don't do much. I've spent so much time with her and we're really close - I really don't want to lose that connection. It's already been hard enough not being able to take her outside for walks every day, swing her around, dance etc because of bad pelvic girdle issues 😢
