+Blackleafdragon Uncanny Valley is in 90% an animation problem. This is a static character, so uncanny valley issues are not very relevant here.

+Blackleafdragon well , thanks to the fashion industry , beauty models are twisted because of overuse of photoshop in magazines ... some photoshop works are no better than that full cgi character ... people will get more and mroe used to it and it will become more "uncanny"

+Blackleafdragon I've seen plenty of real people with faces too large / small for their head. This definitely doesn't fall into the uncanny valley.

Really great art, whoever made it! Some corrections: 1. As many others here rightly pointed out, character can not be made in Unreal Engine. It's made in other 3rd party softwares and then exported to Game Engine. 2. Although the rendering of the character is real-time, the lighting is baked(pre-calculated) and only the reflection are dynamic. The character won't look half as good with fully dynamic lighting or when the character moves against the environment.

Makes me wish Telltale Games upgraded the Telltale Tool to allow for more realistic rendering, especially characters. And even more so, that the actors would also provide performance capture for the characters as opposed to simply voicing them. That would probably result in some of the best-looking characters in adventure gaming since the character closeups in The Secret of Monkey Island...
