You run it in your motor as well?.... If not you should!
@BulletsGarage
4 жыл бұрын
No I don't run it in the motor cuz that gets expensive. Plus I change my oil out at around 4k. So I been using Penzoil and recently went to quaker cuz it tested better then Penzoil and it's inexpensive. Read this thread 540ratblog.wordpress.com/2013/06/20/motor-oil-wear-test-ranking/

For sure I've read that blog. I keep up with it as you probably know lowbux on Club Lexus had brought it to everybody's attention when he had that conversation with Daniel on the RCF forum ever since then I do follow the rankings of his oil testing😎..... so at least you're running Quaker State ultimate durability I'm guessing?

I had these squeeze packs for my rear diff change too and I thought it was a pain in the ass. I ended up inserting my hand pump to fill in.
@@BulletsGarage facts...I go 20K no problem on my commuter IS, but their filters as you know only have an advertised 15K life cycle.

Next time just put a clear rubber tubing from the fluid to the fill hole and all the frustration will be avoided. That’s weird how there is diff fluid and sub components with more fluid in the rear diff assembly. Never seen that before.
@BulletsGarage
4 жыл бұрын
That's a good idea. But I don't have a clean tube and didn't want to contaminate the oil. Yea tvd has side couplers with oil

Ok next time I'll know. Only thing I wanna do is the Trans fluid. But that is not easy. And no good write up on how to do it properly.
@BulliKid

It’s not drain and refill?
@BulletsGarage

No. Drain and fill will only get a few quarts. Plus fill the Trans needs to be at a specific temo
