Hear from Rebecca Ramsey, our Executive Director, on her first wildlife encounter in the Swan Valley over six years ago. Those of us who live in the Swan are so fortunate to share space with the wildlife that roam the valley. It is an incredibly humbling experience to encounter an animal during the daily dog walk, drive to work, or trip to the grocery store and realize that your life is carrying on beside the complex lives of so many other non-human beings. As Rebecca says, it is hard to explain - but every day spent in the Swan Valley is a fervent reminder that this is a living and breathing landscape made up of critical wildlife habitat.
There are so many reasons to feel inspired to protect this ecosystem, and we welcome you to show your support for this special place by giving to our Wild for Wildlife Match Campaign this month to support our wildlife initiatives. Every dollar given will be matched by the Cinnabar foundation, and will help us to keep this landscape healthy and whole.
