Cruise Control, another KZitemr, Life of Burch, said that after installing special lights, his cruise control stopped working and others who took his advice. The cruise control monitors the voltage on the brake light. If you change that light assembly you get different results. He installed a resistor to remedy.

For my touring gear, I use layers. I have a fully armored mesh jacket with a removal water and wind proof liner. I only wear the liner against cold. If it is raining or really cold I put a rain jacket over the mesh jacket. Under garments are a T-shirt and sometimes a long sleeve shirt for warmth. The inner liner of the mesh jacket is cold when wet which is why I use a rain jacket over the mesh. This creates a warm pocket of air between the cold wet rain jacket and the inner clothing. For the legs I just have armored blue jeans with protection. If it is a bad rain day I pull on some rain pants over the blue jeans. I wanted mesh pants too as the jeans are warm on a really hot day. I haven't found a good pair of mesh jeans with a removal inner liner, still looking. For gloves I have summer gloves and rain gloves. The rain gloves are thinly insulated. I supplement those with heated grips. I am thinking about getting rain gloves with heat only on the non palm side of the gloves. The back of the hands are a little cool even with wind deflectors. Boots are just waterproof boots that I can comfortably walk in.

Great and interesting uploads, nice channel, congrats. I am a somewhat new Rebel 1100 DCT owner (2 months), but I love that bike. I bought it after 16 years of living "bikeless". Regards from the Philippines

Throttle lock???? You aren't riding a 1972 Harley. First thing you should do if you have issues with your cruise disengaging is check that your boot is not touching the rear brake. Then also check what stuff you have around the cruise controls and front brake. The cruise on the Rebel will also disengage if you force close the throttle.

Have similar / probably more current draw and no cruise issues... I used to have them and it was the rear brake switch - it needs to be "just right" in a certain ohm range... play around with it

Hey man, do you have any concrete noise of when the 1100t 2024 model with bronze wheels is being released in the UK? I have spoken to two seperate dealers and it appears Honda haven’t even given their dealers much of a hint in regards to release date or price. My rebel has recently been written off after being backed into and I’d opt for this or the 1250rs, but as I have only a motorcycle licence, it may force my hand to the RS

If you stand on the left footpeg you could swing your leg over the box.

I tried it a couple of times, but got concerned that i might snap the foot peg LOL, I don't feel they are robust enough to support all my weight repeatedly.

I doubt the footpeg will snap off that is a fairly robust bolt. My wife has to use it to get on the bike. The Corbin seat is rather tall. I had concerns for the side stand since on some bikes they are flimsy however it has not bent. She climbs on and then I have to slide my foot over like you showed. @@ontherebel11

How often do you need to look for a gas pump, is it eligible to fall in the "worry free on mpg" catagory?
@ontherebel11
8 ай бұрын
It's all relative bro. It does close to 50 mpg if you are cruising at 60 mph. But if your highways have a higher speed, you'll get 35 mph if riding over 80 mph. For me personally It's not an issue at all, but I've heard many people complaining about the size of the tank. While I'm touring, I plan my breaks every 1 or 1.5 hours and my stops are at gas stations to use restrooms, fill up with gas and grab a quick coffee etc. I've done 30,000 miles so far with zero complaints about the gas tank. I respect other owners' opinion, but I can't relate to it tbh. 🤙
