Just a suggestion but if your using tap water boil it a few times and use boiled water to clean the inside of the jars. That way you will get less green growth in the jars. Tap water still has microbes in there.

I wonder also if as a solution for the little bulb being a little higher than the surface of the base, if you cut out shapes of double-sided tape to surround the top of the base to give the bulb clearance but to add more height to the base. Either that or maybe some balsa wood or pine wood to make a tiny platform that would be easy to paint to match the color of the base?

They look amazing, Laura. And after watching you pour water, perhaps having the electronic light and battery feature separate from the water feature, is best. :) Of course, instead of a light feature, I would have made the specimen's eyes open, (after immersion in the water) to make you think they were still alive. :)

Hey Laura, suggest for the t-rex stand get some black craft adhesive foam and cut it out a circle to fit on top of the base in between the case jar. Make sure to cut a hole out for the light. That should raise it enough to keep it from sitting on the light. Might need one or two foam layers.

In 2001 Burger King did commemorative glass goblets for LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring and those too had light-up bases which I think these could have taken a cue from. There with the Burger King glasses the base was separate and made of clear rubber that wrapped around the bottom of the glass. Maybe something like that would work here too. If only to keep the glass part from slipping off the base and potentially spilling.

Your migraines are coming from a food that you eat that you really like. I had migraines for almost my entire life. Coincidentally after going on a restricted diet for boxing I discovered my migraines completely went away forever. The number one culprit for migraines is either milk protein or wheat proteins. Your stomach can break them down but when they are in your circulatory system they can cause inflammation in the capillaries in your head etc. When I heard it years ago I refused to believe that foods that I loved and had been eating for years could cause migraines like wtf, that's a dumb idea. But after consuming only water vegetables and animal proteins, on this diet, I noticed my migraines completely subsided and it felt great. I did have an iGe antibody test done recently which showed a highly inflammatory response from wheat products (which is in every processed food as an emulsifier), cows milk, and something else. Even if I have a little bit of bread now I can feel this funny headache feeling starting. Your body just don't like that stuff
