Welcome back!
After work throughout the week, Jake and I managed to rebuild the final drives on this John Deere 8430. As shown in the last video, the axle bearings were pretty loose. After building a stand, we were ready to tackle this project. We replaced both of the bearings and all of the seals, leaving us with a tight, functional, and leak-free final drive. Jake also finished up the air conditioning on this tractor, so we were able to put the front left cast center and wheel back on the tractor. After a couple of nights after work, the rear end is all back together, and we are one step closer to this tractor being done!
Thanks for watching, and I'll see ya on the next one!
