This is great information! I have another tip for iphone users; you can use a genuine iphone camera adapter (about 30 bucks), and plug the USB side of the charging cable of your wireless go 2 into the adapter, while plugging the other end into the wireless go 2 receiver. Then, just plug the lightning part of the camera adapter into your iphone and boom! You're good tog go.

It sounds like you are already doing all the right things. One thing that does come to mind: the Wireless GO II is not meant to be held right in front of your mouth - I know, we see a lot of people doing that online… but it's meant to be clipped to your collar and probably also not to scream into. So, maybe that's it?

@@Mikeduffey_ The difference is this: when you are streaming the interview live you want the Mono mixdown so that the people on the other end don't hear one person on the left and the other on the right (keep in mind, they may just be having one ear bud in). When you are recording an interview and edit it after, then the Split mode is the better choice so you have the flexibility to edit things together. However, you will have to make a few steps in whatever editing program you use to separate the Left/Right channel.
