I love this type off videos!! As a woman who right now struggles with the same shit, I love to watch these kind of videos because it helps me to remember what is important on the recovering-journey, but mainly, and most important, it makes me feel not so alone ❤ Lots of love ❤

Hey, I'm late to the party here (literally only just found your channel mere days ago), and I have never left a comment on a channel in my life. But I felt compelled to say that I have absolutely loved the videos of yours that I have watched so far. I'm digging into your hair videos cause I am just starting my wavy hair journey. But your personality and openness are so engaging and encouraging that I am excited to see your everyday life videos as well! I love videos like this anyway. Just wanted to drop this note in hopes you see it and maybe it can brighten your day as much as this video did mine. 😊

Not gonna lie one of my favorite videos you’ve made was on your book reviews. I love reading and have enjoyed many books you reviewed. I discovered I enjoy exercising way more after switching activities. I’m a yoga, cycling, mountain biking gal now. I also love going on long 3-4 mile walks and family hikes.

Didn’t realize how fit you are! I’ve had two hip replacement surgeries and have a muscle disorder so I’m regulated to chair workouts and walking with my walker (I can walk without it) but when going out for a walk, for my lousy balance, I use the walker. Very grateful that I can still workout albeit from a chair and especially that I can walk. Exercise makes me feel much better too. I’m in that reading slump that you talked about. I have about 5 books waiting for me but can’t seem to pick one up! Take care of yourself and do the things that fill you up.

I definitely do that when reading a really good book. The closer I get to the end the less I read it because I don’t want it to be over.

One of my favorite novel trilogy is The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell! It is so good, and the audiobook is AMAZING! I have a long commute (40 min each way) so audiobooks are the only way I can get books now. Also, the phone addiction thing is so rough! I use this app called Filos and I was able to cut my phone time from 5 hours a day to sometimes 30 minutes. I’m happy you’re taking care of yourself!

I love that you're sharing this part of your life with us!! I'm a huge reader, so I love hearing your thoughts. I want to read Powerless and Shadow and Bone. I'm a huge fantasy lover, and I'm currently reading Two Twisted Crowns, which is the sequel to One Dark Window.

Thank you for sharing so openly and honestly! I hope it helps you feel less alone because you help me feel less alone! Gym: ABSOLUTELY! for me, it’s at home before the gym. I’m so blessed to have membership at a gym close to my house, which super helps the motivation. But I do take time to get to the full convicted YES! Once I’m in the car, I play my hype, gym-only playlist and I’m ready. Having a gym partner helps me, we don’t do anything together, but it helps prevent the “do-I-really-want-to-go?” Reading: YES! I know I’m too addicted to my phone. I lie to myself saying I’ll just watch this one TikTok or one KZitem video or create a stop time… then ignore it. But with a book, I know I have to invest time to get immersed and somehow that feels longer… even though I know it isn’t. I have gone from someone who loves to complete tasks to someone who doesn’t. Enjoying the during. So I totally relate to now wanting a book to end! The theme I’m seeing in me is that once I get going, I can keep going (an object in motion stays in motion!). It’s not always about motivation but accountability and just beginning.

Ooooo I don’t know if I’m the best to ask. It is rough some days. My older kiddos likes legos and will work on those for a bit. My younger kiddo doesn’t really have anything that keeps them focused for longer than 10 seconds. 😅

Like the title for this series. So many people experience burnout and don't know that's what is wrong, know what to do, or even where to start.❤️❤️❤️I'm a graduate school student and I learned about burnout quickly. I love books, that is also part of my self-care/burnout prevention routine! Find an author who's writing you enjoy, then branch out to their friends, writing circles, or similar topics. For me it looks like Anne McCaffrey to Mercedes Lackey to Brandon Sanderson to Patrick Rothfuss to Delemhach to etc. I also love Christian fiction authors Dee Henderson, Lori Copeland, and Lori Wick.

Courtney, I am loving your new videos. I know what I am going to ask you is to do with your hair, but is there any way you would do a video when you have your next hair cut please? I would love to know what you ask your stylist for and watch her cutting and drying your hair. If you don’t want to do that, which I totally understand, please could you tell me what I need to ask my stylist for? Think I am right in saying your hair is all one length. Not sure if you have got any long layers though. Blessings from the United Kingdom. X

I'm glad to see you branching out. I think I'm going to really enjoy this style of video from you as I enjoy your personality. I originally started watching you while desperately needing to figure out how to take better care of my hair. But over the years I feel like you've become a part of my friend group. Even though we're strangers and you have no idea I exist 😅. Hope you're feeling better!

On the topic of books, are you someone who always needs a new book or do you like re-reading? While I love finding something new, I can be so comforting to go back to some of my favorite series. Even if I know what's coming, I still enjoy revisiting those worlds.

I really enjoyed this video❤ I understand the burnout all too well. I sometimes feel like I'm going to have a meltdown if I can't acquire some alone time each day. I am not a fan of working out but I do know that it is good for me. I'm unable to get to the gym on a daily so I get up early and do 15 to 30 minute Pilates workouts that I follow on KZitem. Like you, I always feel better once I start the workout but getting to that starting point can be a little rough in the morning 😋. I am an avid reader and I can usually get 2 to 3 books a week. My genre of choice is psychological thrillers. I know this is long-winded, I just wanted you to know that I appreciate your video because it makes me not feel so alone knowing someone else has some of the same struggles and same interests in their day to day. Looking forward to more videos ❤
