In life we travel on a journey of discovery where we learn about the environment around and the response within. If you find yourself in a patch of darkness, grasp my hand and I'll take you to the next patch of light! You have been a great source and medicine to my spirit. I'm known to my friends as a big teddy bear and a gentle giant. So I do what I can to help you feel my arms around you. I send you a bear hug from Ohio USA! 💙💚

I believe in the power of sharing our stories, and I thank you for opening a compassionate dialogue through your 'recoverlog' series. Take the very best care of yourself in the new year, and know that we are all right behind you, supporting you in all that you do. These recoverlogs really need to be shown to people dealing with mental illness globally. These account for so much of the pain and turmoil, and especially when you feel completely and utterly alone and seeing no end, these videos do so much more than I thought videos could, and I have found so much hope in it all. Good luck with everything in the future and thank you so much

Thank you for being so honest and real in such a public forum. Not a lot of people are brave enough to do it themselves, and you documenting your struggles and victories is doing wonders for those people who have no outlet or way to validate their experiences. You are a magnificent person and I wish you so much success and happiness.

I am absolutely delighted to see the progress you have made and I am incredibly touched to see my name appear as one of your many supporters. On a lighter note can I reassure you that you didn't sound or look like Tom Cruise on Oprah! I mean that in a good way - obviously!! You do so much for others that you need to look after yourself and nobody could ever accuse you of being egotistical! Loving the idea of #itgetsbrighter and looking forward to hearing more about this project. To use your own words, be kind to yourself and remember there are lots of people who would love to give you a big hug for being the incredible and inspirational person that you are. Best wishes for a wonderful 2016!

I'll miss these videos a lot but at the same time I hope you never feel the *need* to make one of these videos ever again. I'm so happy for you Jonny! As for your "tokens" of hope for others... That's such a good idea. Especially the seeds. Even as I was in the last stretch of recovering, while my mood had recovered I wasn't productive, or really "living", and time just melted away with nothing to show for it. I planted the seeds from a chili i'd used for cooking and over the weeks it grew bigger and bigger and while no chili has grown on it yet, it was a symbol of that even though time was passing it wasn't being wasted. Things were happening, i was still recovering and getting better, and I felt less alone. I hope to see you and your campaigns soon enough, i'll keep an eye out! Didnt see my name in the video but i hope any of my comments over the course of your videos made a difference to someone. I know your videos have made all the difference to me. Thank you for all youve done man, and best of luck

I wish you all the success in the world cause you truly deserve it! breaking the stigma is so vital and I'm proud to be a part of your KZitem channel and seeing you grow has been lovely!! Recovery is possible, it's taking it one day at a time and that belief no matter how small, that things will get better!! Thank you for all your videos and I think you are doing so well!! Keep fighting no matter what!! xxx

It's important to document your recovery so that if and when you relapse you can look back and see that you can and will get through it. This is such a hard time for so many people, emotions run high but look at you Jonny, thinking about the future, working on new projects. The postcards and seeds is a great idea. have you thought about setting up a Community Interest Company and applying for funding for any of your projects? You have given me hope in dark hours so thank you and please keep making videos and keep being the amazing, brave, honest man that I respect, admire and love so much xxx

all you need is a mustard seed of hope, plant that mustard seed; and watch it grow into a 8 foot tree. and that tree is the symbol of your recover. as that tree grew you needed to water the seed with faith. you will be tested, but water it everyday; which means never give up!

I've been so stressed these weeks because my girlfriend was diagnosed by an early symptoms of schizoaffective disorder and I just finished all your recoverlogs and it gives me hope that she's going to be fine and she's going to be alright, thank you for that. Anyway, I still have some questions, I know that perhaps you're quite busy right now, but I hope it reaches you and I would be grateful if you have time to answer these questions: 1. Are you still taking medicines after your recovery? 2. Is it true that people with schizoaffective disorder only live half a day, because they have to sleep 12 hours a day as the side effects of their medicines? 3. Can my girlfriend do a full-time job in the future? 4. Can we start a family and having children? 5. What should I do when her symptoms appears? Because one time when I was in her house, she was hearing voices and it was scary and I couldn't do anything to help her.. I guess that's it, thank you again by the way :)
