🐠 POLLOCK: Pollock is a member of the cod family. They can grow as long as 3 feet but typically reach lengths between 12 and 20 inches and weigh between 1 and 3 pounds. They have speckled coloring that helps them blend in with the seafloor to avoid predators. 🐝 POLLEN: Pollen is essential for sexual reproduction of flowering plants and plants that produce cones. Each pollen grain contains male gametes necessary for fertilisation.

Home cooks don’t need _ANY_ molds besides a freaking saucepan, nor do they need to waste a shitload of oil! I learned how to do this through *extensive research,* and it was more than worth the time. These come out perfect! *INSTRUCTIONS:* Preheat oven to 350° Put frying pan to medium high heat with about 2 tablespoons of oil - after it is heated up, fry the _FLOUR TORTILLA_ for 50 seconds on each side (this is _NOT_ to be done with corn tortillas!). Make sure that the tortilla is fully coated with the oil. Keep moving the tortilla around so that the oil is all over it. After you have fried the tortilla for 50 seconds on each side, IMMEDIATELY mold it into an oven safe bowl/saucepan/pot to shape it before it hardens up. Put that container on a cookie sheet if it doesn’t have a handle, and put all of that in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until it is nice and golden. That’s it! It is _PERFECT!_

I’ve never fried a whole tortilla in order to make a tostada shell, but as I’m watching Josh and Trevor struggle with frying it, my common sense alarm is going off and telling me the tortilla should have been placed in the pot of oil, with the form immediately pressing it down into the oil. This eliminates the need for multiple tools in the oil and uses the natural frying movements to keep the tortilla pressed around the form, instead of floating away from the form like it did in the vid. But thats just the way I would do it, idk if that’s the proper way lol.

Love this show -- and hated the Taco Bell seafood salad when it came out back in the 80s! Just for the record, though: pollen is not bee poop (5:30). It's a powdery substance that attracts bees, who transfers from plant to plant (pollenation) that helps regenerate the plants. But Josh and Trevor were (kinda) close -- bees also collect nectar, and that is (technically) bee puke, as they regurgitate it into honeycombs to make honey.
