This is one of the most fascinating places that I have ever seen, not only for its architecture but also for the use that it has been given to the site over a millennia. Originally built by the Romans to then be used as a monastery by the the Anglo-Saxons, to finally end up as a Parish Church. the sea erosion deteriorate the structure and at some point fresh towers were built to give visitors an idea of how it looked in the 12th century. A really interesting spot to visit in Kent UK, specially if you are around Herne Bay!
