Sounds like an Australian woman, I am Australian also. I have looked at many videos about fusing the bags with the iron, however this is the only one I have seen where the person is saying to have water in the iron and use that steam setting or whatever, I can't figure out why however, no one else did that, I can't figure out what the hot steam would do just spraying on the baking paper, and she didn't explain the reason why. As far as plastic fumes, apparently most things have a melting temperature and then a vaporising temperature, so as long as it doesn't hit the vaporising temperature then there shouldn't be any plastic fumes, for this type of polyethylene it shouldn't really produce any vapours while under 250 degrees. However it seems this video was for year 9 students, so you were erring on the side of caution.

The sound was gone from 3:08 to 6:33 -- I found it confusing since her lips were moving, so maybe there was supposed to be sound?

About 6:20 the sound is restored. I'm sure if you watch again, you can hear her state her intentions. She SAID she'd be using the letters from the LOVE as a stencil on the pink bag, and if you watch her that's exactly what she did. You're confused? I suggest you watch again. Maybe if you slow it down? Good luck on your endeavors👍
