Just moved to South Korea and am shocked with the way the recycling system is. Like you said it's great for the ecosystem, but my gosh, so much work! This video was super helpful!! Thank you!

Saving this video should I relocate to Korea. Very educational on waste disposal. Such a contrast to NYC!

Here in Norway, recycling is kinda messy but easy once you understand the “physics engine” of it. Plastic, paper, organics, glass/metal and trash are our streams collected by trucks. Drinks bottles and cans have a deposit return system for them, and the redemption is hella easy. Batteries and lightbulbs can go in collection points at stores Electronics can be taken to stores that sell them, or the recycling center. Other crud goes to a recycling center. (Construction crap, hard plastics, non-container glass, and other rubble)

4th time in Korea and its a new system in my holiday apartment. Bags are left next to some kind of capsule. The capsules are locked so not sure what happens to the rubbish but looks terrible with all the bags left around them.

Interesting. We have pretty good recycling in Finland, or so I thought before this video. In Finland, some people are very lax and put everything in the mixed trash (they burn it in the incinerator), so some kind of fine might be necessary. Maybe in this video I saw the future here.

I just moved to Seoul and in my apartment building I don't have trash bins but I have to put the bags outsider the building and they will collect it in the night. Do I put vinyls, pet, and cans in the same clear plastic bag?

Can meat go into the food waste? Because that’s not allowed where I live but I haven’t seen anyone talk about it

Instead of by having the consumer pay for what companies produced. Just changed from civilization to primitive wood containers. Primitive Africa be kind to Mother earth be mindful of what we accept to be imported.
