I have just found this since the 80s - Couldn't remember the lyrics at all, just the melody. I have spent a lot of time and worked my way through every top40 hit from 1980 to get here, at one point I actually thought the song didnt exsist and it was my young mind playing tricks on me.Thanks! :-)

It took me about 6 years to find this song :D As a child I had it on some CD with different pop and rock songs from 80s and 90s. And I only remembered that "yodeling part" with USA at the end.
@LukeFrench01

@@Lark1610 I forgot I wrote this comment all those years ago! I am really glad to see it is not just me that has been haunted by it. When I heard the first part, I thought "ok, thats it,but the other bit i remember...that has to be a different song" but no! it transitioned into the next bit. Seems like we all came here and found inner peace lol

@@davidconnelly1793 I didn't see this comment until now. Amazing how it seems to have happened to so many people. Also amazing how it suddenly stopped getting airplay. I remember as a child it was always on the radio, then it just stopped. I think it charted quite high in the UK chart (number 10 I think) which usually means they get played for years afterwards.
