I like how it came out. I wasn’t expecting the stripes to be so equally spaced when knitted. It made a cute hat.

Getting my Sentro this week and I guess all that Red Heart in my stash (I've been handknitting for 55 years--yikes!) is a no-go. From your other Will It Crank? video I learned to avoid cotton blends. Yarn is so expensive and your videos are so helpful!

I use red heart on my Sentro all the time. I use cotton as well. It's all about tension and patience. When I use cotton yarn I always start out with a good 15 rows of waste yarn and then I let loose with no tension at all.. with the red heart just go slowly until about the 25th row. Add on your weights and keep your tension loose.

Hi I have tried different yarns with my 48 sentro. Mine works pretty well with most of the yarns. I have big twist. Red heart and craft smart. And they work pretty well but sometimes with different colors I get tucked stitches.

They don’t call this a super saver. The quality is better here believe it or not. super saver is its own line. Red Heart is just the original company before Yarnspirations bought it

People say red heart doesn't work but 95% of my projects are red heart supersaver on both my addis and my sentros.

What is a tucked stitch? Please somebody tell me

It is basically when the stitch in the row before it didn't drop correctly so then on the next row they both get dropped together. It causes a holey looking stitch and the tucked stitch looks like two stitches over top of each other

What brand of yarn do you use on your sentro?

Great video! Do you have a video going over the differences between the machines, by chance? For an example, what is best for what? For what projects? What yarn? How do you know if you were to buy a machine you’re buying it for what you intend to use it for? Where you can show them too, side by side. Thanks!

I do have a video showing the different machines and sizes of tubes they make, but I don't discuss all the things you can make with each. kzitem.info/news/bejne/soumxZmOqoSofIYsi=pqYAnj-lJP13DyYD The larger 48 pin is my favorite for hats. And the 48/46 pin machines are used for scarves, blankets, panels (for sweaters) and the bodies for stuffed animals. The smaller 40 pin machine is good for headbands, ear warmers, infant hats. The 22 pin is great for arms and legs for stuffed animals and preemie baby hats. But you can do all kind of things with the machines, since they all do panels and tubes. Here is a video where I discuss yarn. kzitem.info/news/bejne/wGxrvqhqiF9yq4Ysi=nAkzDNsGxOfyx5i4

Thanks for the FYI I’ve used the red heart on my central, but not the Grannie squares. I use the super saver cameo yarn It came out pretty good and I use the super saver on my Addi but I haven’t use the granny Square yet.
