I love males (who are married) and bravely watch this kind of MV's and bring them a different feeling. Hahahaha When Irene looked at you at the beginning of the video Steve literally just got punched in the face by the visuals . Anyways, I loved the reaction. And I'm glad that this was the first MV that you watched because Red Velvet is phenomenal .

Red Velvet's power and talent have struck once again Loved your reaction! You should react to their other MVs to see and appreciate the diversity of their music, they have one of the best discographies in kpop

@John Pinder Yes Dumb Dumb is a great one. I would suggest Peek a Boo, Ice Cream Cake and Zimzalabim for MVs. As for b-sides there are so many but Kingdom Come, Butterflies and Look are really great ones even though it's difficult to choose because their music is so great and diverse. Looking forward to your future reactions

What i like about youtube is that i can watch grown men 2 or 3 time my age (i m 21) fanboying over kpop, have fun guys before you fall too deep into it and discover how messed up it is, i ve been a kpop fan since i was 12, i kind of dropped out of it like 2 years ago because i started realizing how bad of an industry it is, the thing is it brings you happiness, comfort and sometimes even brings up your confidence, but it s all fake, a lot of the kpop idols suffered because of the s.korean society, some took their own lives, i can’t look at it the same now that some of the people i liked so much when i was 12 are 6 feet underground, suffered from depression all this time while i was fantasizing about this wonderful beautiful world

I just found your reaction channel, and I’m a 41 year old woman. I got into KPop because American music just doesn’t do it for anymore, so I totally get you. Since I found Kpop, it’s almost ALL I listen to now, and I even went to see Red Velvet’s RedMare your early last year, and it was SOOOO good! Keep the videos coming guys, and you should totally check out the 2nd Generation Kpop girl groups like Girls’ Generation. Their leader Taeyeon Kim is a vocal goddess, and Wendy’s mentor.

New subscriber. First video I seen for you guys was the Psycho reaction. Been a huge fan of theirs for a few years. Bad Boy is definitely one of my favorite of their songs. Love how open you guys are. That was also my experience being 32. I just became so bored with western music that I checked out a Fine Brother's "KZitemr's react to Kpop video" a few years ago and didn't look back. Along with Red Velvet I love and recommend "Stray Kids." They write and produce their own music and debuted early 2018. 9 members initially and 1 left October before their last release. I'd recommend "Side Effects." The lyrics speak on the fear and stuggle of growing up, and coming into your own. Can't wait to see your other videos!

This was easily a song that En Vogue could have done in the 80s/90s, maybe even the Emotions or Three Degrees back in the 70s. The Three Degrees are the only ones that might have had this level of production quality, at least for their era, thanks to Moulton.

Kpop has blown up, for sure. 10 years ago the most popular groups got 30 million views. Groups like DBSK, BIGBANG and 2NE1 were starting to get international recognition. After Gangnam Style, that started to accelerate.. Now that's less than a week's worth of views for the more popular groups.

Quite a song to start with! I can totally relate to you guys. I'm 50 myself and NEVER in my life have I been as deep into ANYTHING as THIS group. Yes, of course they're beautiful, (I'm married too!! She's actually a big fan of them as well.) but this group in particular has me hooked. They are extremely talented and diverse in the genres of the music they do. You will find it hard to believe that the same group did these totally different styles when you play some songs back to back on an album or a random playlist. The funny thing is, they seem to pull everything off quite well. Very versatile vocally. Not all of their music will appeal to everyone, but they have such a large library of songs (about 100-ish) I'm sure you'll find a lot of songs that will appeal to you. A lot of the times I find the title tracks my LEAST favorite songs on the album. Even if you find you don't like the song that had a video (Especially since it seems you're only going to react to videos) I ask that you listen to at least some of their discography on your own time, especially since you have backgrounds in music. I have a feeling John has already heard a bit from them already, especially since you started with this video. I'm sure you will come away pretty impressed with their talent. One of the other things I love about them is that they are all extremely REAL and caring human beings. Beautiful inside and out. Not at all just for show. Good luck on your journey! Subscribing now...

in k-pop there is this trend that still consistently pushes through until today, a song it feels like multiple song/genre being mashed into one single track..kinda like queens bohemian rhapsody I guess?? check it out, here are some of my suggestion....Oh and the visuals of this music videos are awesome 2NE1 - Comeback home (2014) RED VELVET - Zimzalabim (2019) BLACKPINK - Whistle (2016)
@portehuerra9044

k-pop is all about the bop, choreography, visuals & talent...I feel k-pop is kinda emulating 90s boy/girlgroup but upgraded with more intense dancing & impressive MV (music videos)...probably the most distinctive thing about k-pop is their cutesy/innocent concepts that u may come across depending on your requested videos, but considering you are new to k-pop, you might not want to go down that lane YET...it can cringe you to the fullest...so I rather suggest you other concepts - NCT U (the 7th sense) - 2ne1 (Comeback home) - Bigbang (bang bang bang) - Loona (butterfly) try these first

You are so right when you say how big it has become. BTS presence has been felt round the world. When I saw an interview on youtube with Big Bang and CNN Talk Asia back in 2016 it was an eye opener. At that time Big Bang made more money than Maroon 5. There are so many good groups. kzitem.info/news/bejne/k3eZ2pZ4rWKGoW0

Oooo, similar story! My daughter started listening to J-rock (Japanese rock) and transitioned to K-pop around 2008-2009. It was impossible to escape, so I became a fan in self-defense. :D Now I'm a 40+ white-woman K-pop fan, albeit a little jaded.
