As appears eminent the supremacy of the functional languages over Object-Oriented ones just because they are akin with the computers evolution, "Matz" says that he is going to do everything in order not to let Ruby decay and save it, but as this seems not to be a simple task, he shall count with a super help features or as hero which he called "Superdry" which is being target in Ruby 3.0!!!

1. Ruby is horrible, IDK if you did loads of interpreter micro-optimizations to fool the tests, it's still slow as hell in actual practice. Its worst case, which for "productive" developers is very often, is garbage. 2. Get it out of my life, if you want to use ruby for web... FINE. But don't infect the CI pipeline with ruby, i will fight ruby kicking and screaming. Golang written application, I think quality.... Ruby? I think garbage script. 3. The only crap-tastic dynamic language I'd accept on the system side is python, and it took years to get me to accept it as part of my systems life. It has optimized libraries, and good systems integration.... It also reads well... if it wasn't OO id actually like it. 4.I don't want productivity innovations as part of the day to day infrastructure, I want slower development that makes semi-decent quality at a decent performance cost.... Golang definitly, Ruby NEVER. DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE

And the amazing thing about OpenSource and the Internet is that you can choose whatever language you want to work with. People are different, so are their preferences. You hate Ruby, and some of us love it! I'm pretty sure there's space for all of us.
