Drove it back-to-back with a 2019 A Class hatchback - except for the power deficiency- it was a far more refined car to drive. I suspect it is a much better made product to boot. Had the A-class for a day and found it far too harsh for bumps, the transmission was jerky and was noisier than Mazda. 3 AWD is a great achievement!

I currently drive a 2010 Mazda 3 GT-E with 283,000 km...mostly highway! Amazingly fun and responsive to drive and no reliability issues whatsoever! I actually located a one of a kind find at a Mazda dealer and it’s a brand new 2018 Mazda 3 with premium and tech package! This 2018 handles exactly like my 2010 fun, fun and more fun! I will be purchasing one of the only brand new fully loaded 2018’s around! I had already test driven a 2019 Mazda 3 with premium package and AWD which made me feel claustrophobic and the visibility was terrible. For a person like myself who is a true spirited Mazda driver and who loves responsive steering and changing lanes....this car is an accident waiting to happen. I like to drive with my arm on the window ledge we’ll forget about this car then. The plus side to the 2019 is it’s very quiet and smooth...smooth as you don’t feel the bumps...but I myself like to feel the road because I feel more connected to my driving...

As usual the styling is amazing. Love the body shape and the hood/grille design. Wheels also look great. The interior in red looks very cool and the quality of materials also seems very good. As for the color of the car they sent you, I think it is so depressing. This cool compact design needs a better exterior color choice, which I am sure many are available. The non touch screen isn't such a big deal for the driver but it does seem like a nuisance for the passenger. It just would seem awkward for the passenger to be using the dial control that was clearly engineered for the use of the driver. Lastly, no USB ports in the rear is just a really dumb oversight. They are so easy to integrate and cost is so low. Every backseat should have some USB ports available. Overall an awesome new compact hatchback.

I think Mazda is figuring the market would be way too small for such a trim. Top trim already gets to around $28K which is already getting steep for a compact. A turbo with all the features would probably get to over $32K. There's already some curious overlap with the Mazda 6. I bought a 2018 6 GT Reserve which has the turbo, ventilated seats, etc. and is much more car overall than the 3 yet costs $31K. Unless you just want a small car, I see no reason to just get the Mazda 6.
@BruceLeedar
5 жыл бұрын
360 camera is available in some markets (e.g. Europe, Australia), turbo may be available in the future if demand is strong enough from people who would buy new (I believe there is the room to put in the 2.5 turbo already used in the CX-5 and CX-9). IMO there is an off chance that ventilated seats might become available as well, if the Mazda3 does well enough, especially in high trim levels.

I'm a 2014 Mazda 3 GT Hatch owner. I just love the styling of my car, but the 2019 models are just too ugly. Hoping my 2014 model goes a long way.

I like Mazda a lot, but I think this car is homely. I also hate that paint color and those ugly black rims.

For around 25k I'd rather have a civic hatchback or si.
