Not for the issue you had, but as an FYI for later. These Redmax blowers, it’s very common for both the cylinder head and intake manifold bolts (4) to loosen or check as loose. When either the intake manifold or head gasket leak, it will cause various mysterious running issues. You’ll also see oil leakage/wet dirt around those areas. As a preventive measure when new, a good idea would be to put a white paint mark across the bolts and manifold and bolts and cylinder base, so with a quick visual inspection you can see if the bolts have loosened. However, the assemblies/gaskets may compress over time and thus the tension is released and although the bolt hasn’t turned, it would check loose when you tried tightening it. So, it still may be advisable to torque check these bolts periodically. Some other ideas would be blue thread locker, nordlock wedge lock washers (add 2mm to assembled height, may need longer bolt to maintain thread engagement), and lastly, safety wire bolt pairs to each other if you’re good with that sort of thing.

It wasn’t the problem here, but this engine is very sensitive to the coil to flywheel gap. Set it perfectly to factory spec clearance.

I have a EBZ5150 I bought off of a guy for a $100 buck. It worked fine at first, now it want start and has no spark. I've changed the carb, and ignition coil and still no spark. Check the coil and flywheel gap, now Im hoping its the kill or lever wires. I've put way more money into this blower than expected, but if it starts it beats buying a new one.

Ya I would check the kill. Disconnect the coil and see it returns. If not sometimes the magnet on the flywheel can loose it's magnetism. That of course is fairly rare

@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn Maaan I got it running now. It was the coil. I also bought a new spark plug, but it wasn't getting any spark because it wasn't gapped to the right specification. Once I solved that issue it started right up. I adjusted the idle, now it running like a champ for now.

Too many steps. Buy a spark tester. No spark. Unplug the switch and retest. If it starts it's the switch. 5bmin test.

Spark testers are good but not everyone has one and they can give a false reading
