Mate I see a lot of tutorials and you are by far the most straight forward and clear. Most people waste time, you waste non. Screw the others and praise you.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. This was amazingly clear and concise. I've recently moved to Redshift from the standard renderer and it's been a bit of learning curve.

I remember watching this video about a year ago.. It made no sense to me.. (becuase I was just learning about cinema / redshift). I just watched this again, wow.. so helpful.. So many things made sense.. I never knew what to do with backplates.. Your realism tips are the best I think I have ever heard. I'm so thankful.. (that this time I was able to comprehend what you were saying.. its really not that hard.. I'm just a bit slow.. ) thanks!!!! 4.5 stars

great tutorial, I've been using this technique for long but I'm facing this problem, if I render the alpha channel I lose 90% of the reflection transparency, sane happened with u in this tutorial, what i use to fix it is to separately render the reflection pass and then increase its alpha and boost up the exposure, i was wondering if u have any idea on how to fix this without rendering some passes

awesome awesome tutorial! Thank You very much. I do have a question. I can add the background as you mention in the dome light and it is visible using an image. However, there is an option to add ANIMATED FOOTAGE. Which I desperately need to do for my camera tracking footage. But when I add the footage in the background plate and even in the dome map it does not animate the background. It shows nothing. Do you know what might be the problem? Thank You :)

Thank you this is an amazing tutorial and it works as a charm but I have an issue when i increase the reflection scale (4:52). The plane turns to a translucid white and I cannot see the reflection. I can cast the reflection of the plane colour to the sphere but not the other way around. It's so frustrating. Why is this happening? Any thoughts? Please help me on this, I cannot move on with my life ahahah :) Thank you.
