If there have been funnier comedians ever than Vic & Bob, I have yet to see or hear them. I can't even imagine what must go through their heads, when they think of these things

Mortimer's performance here is inspired. I've seen nothing like it. The way he corrects himself and the facial expressions...slipping in and out of US and English accents is superb. Once of my favorite sketches of all time.

Simon Simon i used to watch smell of reeves and mortimor every few months after it aired for years i was a huge fan, i should watch Bang Bang i agree i have seen a few clips online and they are great. It just passes me by when it first aired and then i think i saw a studio bit with them at a desk and wasnt sure i would like it (didnt wanna taint my memory of there greatness) i think soon after didnt they do happy families or something and i was like ok, just remember them for "the smell" and "shooting stars" i will watch bang bang soon, cheers

To me, this must be the greatest comedy performance of all time, especially that of Bob. It is such a shame that a better quality video couldn't have been uploaded. It would be spectacular if someone started a melon patch church celebrating the Holy Arse wipe, where we get down with the flies and do the dance of life.

This skit really captures the true southern hospitality. But why does one brother have a Kentucky accent while the other has a Georgia accent?

I may be wrong but i don`t think they were going for regionally state specific authenticity with the accent, i think perhaps you`ve somewhat missed the point.

@@jimmypopt.v.3037 I was being facetious. They are obviously both doing Northern Arkansas accents.
