Heya!
In this video I'll show you what I did to get an old and beaten 1993 Yamaha XJ 600 S Diversion back in running order.
The previous owner had it for 26 years and didn't clean it once. It has over 103.000 km in the clock (over 64.000 miles) and looks worse for wear.
Surprisingly, the bike didn't need all that much, considering the previous owner did nothing that absolutely had to be done.
As he bought another bike, the Yamaha additionally sat for a couple of months.
The fork was leaking badly, everywhere was mold and moss, brakes were barely functioning and the chain was an absolute mess.
I intend to use this bike as an everyday commuter, daily rider - to get around town, to work, to my workshop and back.
This was by far the most satisfying pressure wash ever - although I didn't film it properly - sorry for that :)
