Very nice 👍 I do 80% of my work at night or around 4am. I convince my customers to give me keys and passcodes. That way I'm not in their way. Great video 👍

Night calls makes the job a lot easier. It’s getting motivated to keep on after a full day to go at night. Believe I saw a glimpse of Randell tag? Good content. Keep it up. newer Evaps just don’t last anymore sadly.

Good video. I agree 100% with you, I have a Montana's restaurant that I take care of, I have my own key and alarm code so I can start after the kitchen shuts down, everything is easier when I don't have a cook standing above me frying things while I'm trying to work... Thanks.

What has me concerned working these night jobs, does your company or who you work for give you the time off on the back end? Like, don't have to come in early morning or can come in later? Does your company normally work late hours or have 24 hour coverage? I am a student now and wondering how companies or shops help with those late night calls.
@Cscrefandhvac
4 жыл бұрын
diistortionx this was a scheduled job. Yes they gave me the next day off for doing this job. But back in the day things were different. Refrigeration is 24/7 if you are on call. It all depends what you wanna do . Years ago when I was on call it’d be crazy. 2-3 hours of sleep a night for a week straight if I was lucky. But now we don’t do accounts like that , so it all depends where you work and the accounts you have . If you do hvac it won’t be like that at all
@Cscrefandhvac
4 жыл бұрын
diistortionx I did this job because I was asked to Do it and not because I was on call. A job like this isn’t an on call job. On call is for emergencies.

Sir If compressor burnout how do you clean the system before installing a new one
@Cscrefandhvac
6 жыл бұрын
jain toms you could clean out the system with r11 or also add Acid away to the system if the system got acidic . May have to add new oil as well if the compressor didn’t come with new oil already in it

That's a Randell prep table. You don't have to change each individually. You can change the whole evap as an assembly. It will come with the TXV and the Sol already on it. Cost about $1400 but saves a ton on labor. The connections are in the back of the unit. The last one I changed took about 2 1/2 hrs.
