One thing to focus on in part 4: I am not sure if I heard it from Ubi or elsewhere, but some claim Clement is not a good example because Corinth was part of his jurisdiction (and therefore this is not a case of universal jurisdiction). I do not think that undermines the arguments you make here, but it is an argument with a good rhetorical effect

John was way closer to Corinth than Rome was

First Council of Constantinople 381 Canon 2 (my point was simply that the numerous Canons which are like this one support a conciliar model of the Church and does not support the Roman Catholic position that the Pope has universal authority to govern over the whole Church. These Canons were made obviously so that a bishop from a different diocese did not try to exert authority over another Bishops territory and firmly establish that no Bishop even that of Old Rome did NOT have the authority to overrule a Bishop of a different province) "The bishops are not to go beyond their dioceses to churches lying outside of their bounds, nor bring confusion on the churches; but let the Bishop of Alexandria, according to the canons, alone administer the affairs of Egypt; and let the bishops of the East manage the East alone, the privileges of the Church in Antioch, which are mentioned in the canons of Nice, being preserved; and let the bishops of the Asian Diocese administer the Asian affairs only; and the Pontic bishops only Pontic matters; and the Thracian bishops only Thracian affairs. And let not bishops go beyond their dioceses for ordination or any other ecclesiastical ministrations, unless they be invited. And the aforesaid canon concerning dioceses being observed, it is evident that the synod of every province will administer the affairs of that particular province as was decreed at Nice. But the Churches of God in heathen nations must be governed according to the custom which has prevailed from the times of the Fathers."

@EasternChristian333 Great point this is why their arguments pass over the Canons and have to go into wording of Letters and the like. If you cant establish the Papacy from even a single Canon- the position is lost- There is no Canon that Says the Roman Bishop shall retain its privileges over the other Bishops in matters of a. or b. etc. Also yes that would suit them better but even that claim is impossible to make because it once again breaks Canon law Council of Chalcedon 451 Canon 1 "We have judged it right that the canons of the Holy Fathers made in every synod even until now, should remain in force." and the papcy has not protected any traditions but especially post schism resulted in endless innovations the worst of which I argue is the centuries old practice of communing by Bread Alone- This Bread Alone practice which is very old and has been largely maintained is NOT okay by any stretch of the imagination.

So is your point that the Catholic Church went into schism at Vatican 1?

"Has resulted in endless innovations." Okay which ones then?

@@franciscomelgoza2799 Did you not read the rest? I said the worst is the communion by bread alone but fine if you must: Communion by Bread Alone- The Filioque- Baptism without immersion- Only allowing unmarried men to be preists- confessing in a wooden box so you are not in the sight of everyone- doing away with the rigorous fasting requirements especially during Lent. thats just to name a few- what hasnt changed is a better question- Communion Baptism Confession the Priesthood the Creed Fasting its all changed- And its not that we cant have some changes in the Church but these changes are more then just changing a method they are a complete and total change from church tradition

@@franciscomelgoza2799 I said the worst was Communion by Bread Alone but if you insist: Communion by Bread Alone- Baptism Without Immersion- Only allowing unmarried men to be Priests- The Filioque- Confession in a booth so you arent in the sight of everyone- Changing the rules for fasting so that fasting is basically eliminated even during Lent- Traditional Iconography has been exchanged for tacky modern art- and thats just to name a few. Everything has changed and its not minor stuff like changing a method but huge ones. If the 800 year old practice of doing away with the Wine in Communion isnt enough to make you say okay maybe the Catholic Church has went off the rails a long time ago then idk what to say-
