That’s awesome Reggie was so nice to you and your daughter. Love how he signs every letter in his name

Great video Frank, pretty sure we met him at the same time in 2022, if it was the one in Troy. He was nice to me, so maybe he has softened up.

I watched Reggie at Spring Training this year for the Astros sign from one fence to the next. Signed 1 per for everyone there and it took him about 45 minutes. I got an Allen and Ginter card done. Reggie seems to have really mellowed out the last few years, as I have heard he was rough outside of the show circuit.

Glad you have a better memory of Reggie. One guy that I would always hear from fans (even from a ballplayer) that Johnny Bench was a jerk and the 3 or 4 interactions I had with him when I worked at Slugger he couldnt have been a nicer guy.

That's really cool how nice Reggie was to your daughter; I remember that story. I may eventually crack and send a letter for Luka to him, but yeah- he's not cheap ha

Does he even sign TTM? I am sure not for free

He signs through his foundation- and no, it isn’t cheap

I've had similar experiences with Reggie during roughly the same time period as you, and I agree he is much better than he used to be. I've also noticed his prices have jumped quite a bit in the last couple of years.

Yeah, he has nearly doubled since COVID, but he was always high.

Some of these older guys are delusional about the “value” of their autographs. Just saw a snow white OAL ball with a PSA cert sell on eBay for $80, which is a fair price. It costs $20 for the ball, $15 for eBay selling fees, $25 for PSA authentication, and whatever they charge for the round trip postage and required insurance. Plus whatever time is involved. It is not 1990 anymore - no one is out there making money off this stuff. Mr. October should be gratified that people still care, as today’s MLB has fallen from the American consciousness in a way that I could have never imagined as a kid.

@@benjaminlyng8269That's somewhat true. If they think they can charge 200 bucks for a single signed baseball, when you can get an earlier version on EBAY that's PSA authenticated for $100, then they are delusional. With that said, they have the collectors over a barrel when you need an existing multi-signed item or specialty item signed. Personally, I've just adjusted my collecting and realized that since I'll never have every hall of famer anyway, why spend $300 for some of the newer hall of famers that sign with a squiggle. You can still build a very nice collection that's enjoyable to look at, without them.

I've got one that looks good according to all your points, but also by another: it's tough to read. Forgers seem to spell out names more clearly.
