Regia diva, a sequence dedicated to Saint John, is part of EGERIA's Imperatrix Agatha. This programme is configured as a tribute to the martyr and saint Agatha, through the repertoires contained in the Tropario of Catania, a 12th century manuscript, held in the National Library of Spain.
Based on the different practices of the period, EGERIA has created a polyphonic reconstruction that invites the listener to travel back to the birth of Western polyphony.
