I think the reason you were getting wet at the ends was because you didn't tie on a water drip line. Without that I bet you'll get wet with the other cover you talked about. I think I would add a tarp above the whole set-up. That's what I do, then I have a dry area to work in.

I see these are no longer available. ENO comes up when I try and search. I e tried a Lawson and didn't like it for a few reason. Ive been waiting on a Warbonnet ridgerunner for about a month. Color and options are out of stock at the moment.

I been looking at this for car camping trips but I have so many hammocks already. Great video! Checkout my channel for some backpacking stoves. I have a Warbonnet ridgerunner and their Blackbird XLC. I love them both. I still go to the XLC for long trips. Very comfy with no shoulder squeeze. The Wookie underquilt is awesome. For about a year now my Amok Draumr 3.0 has been awesome! No regrets buying it. Ended up buying another one. I use underquilts and topquilts but love my Amok since it uses an exped mat and I use a hammock gear burrow TQ. This winter it has been awesome!
