I really love John's advice for heterosexual relationships. A lot of what he says makes sense and some find it hard to accept but our biological sides are active participants in our human experience so ignoring that is bound to cause confusion and problems. I was a little surprised by some of his opinions on homosexuality, but I really can't speak to that as a hetero woman. I totally support the LGBTQ community. But I believe one should never throw the baby out with the bathwater and John has a lot of very valuable wisdom and insights here. That being said, this was not the best interview I have seen with John. It went off the rails because the interviewer was not guiding the talk. She seems sweet, and likely has given some great interviews, but based on the disclaimer, she stopped participating in the interview because she was not in agreement with what John was saying. I feel a strong interviewer could have found a way to participate and guide things even with such polarizing opinions. However, I do feel the same as the interviewer though in that I am not in agreement with everything John thinks.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment Jane! It was certainly a conversation I did lose my way on, not just out of partial disagreement but I am indeed better developing the skill of assertiveness. This was a main factor in starting a podcast and I am grateful that this conversation revealed where there is work still to be done. I have grown and become more confident because of this. Thank you for being here and being part of my own personal To Be Human journey 🤍

Thank you John Gray. Thank you, host, for facilitating the conversation. I hid my face in my hands when he said, “when a woman pushes her feminine side away and enters her masculine side, she becomes HEARTLESS.” My husband has expressed that he’s seen woman soccer players be absolutely ruthless on the field. He made comparisons and showed me videos. A woman soccer player would knock down another player purposefully and violently and he’d say, if those were two men playing they’d stop the game and give a hand to the other one to get up. When John said that women make the best fighter pilots I felt so embarrassed. I felt embarrassed because I could feel the truth of it within myself. It’s almost my own female interpretation of a man’s experience. Because I believe men are ruthless, because men can idealize ruthlessness, it’s as if I am proving to the rest of the world that I am most ruthless, without exception. That’s the feeling I have, that’s what went through my head when he said that about women fighter pilots. Then when he went on to say about the world’s pedophiles and women and men who don’t love each other, and how that’s the root cause of the world falling apart..yes, I hid my face, as I sat alone listening to this, because I know how true it is. I have erred from the proper path. I am flawed. Every time I listen to an interview with John gray I want to just jump my husband and give him so much love. I am currently working on men are from mars and look forward to investing in his other books to attain an abundance of peace in my marriage, deeper love in my heart and to illuminate and expand upon the truth that this man continues to share. God bless, and to everyone reading this comment, I love you! You’re so brave and you’re so wonderful for wanting to bring deeper peace into your relationships. If you’re married like me, I wish you great sex, deeper levels of connection and many, many happy and healthy years to come with your spouse. Cheers! Great talk.

loved this! i am a recovering a femi-nazi. i was so far removed from my femininity for so long, and the womens movement suited me just fine while i was so far out of touch. i wished i had gotten to know myself much sooner in life. i wish i had been open to learning from my experiences earlier on. but it took me a long time to evaluate myself and get the tools to heal my childhood issues. for most of my life i was super independent and saw that as a mega strength. being avoidant and in my masculine energy debilitated me in relationships and in finding the masculine partners i truly desired. i am super grateful for john, his wisdom, and his ability to bring in science and literature as well as his experience as a therapist to this topic.

I'm enjoying this video. It's great in this confused, chaotic place..I do not want to be this independent! I had to start making sure I was ok at a very young age. Ended up w custody of my youngest brother. Chose a bad partner and had kids. Now it's me n the babies. No childcare, not receiving help and it can be stressful. I garden, make soap, work (during school hours) care for my children.. I trust and lean on God. I have been working on not being so rigid, realizing that if I let up a bit the world won't end. God has shown me so much about submission, and the trust I would have to place in a man to submit to him. Learning that letting a man know he's helpful, wanted, and appreciated when he does small and big things is not scary ( I love doing this, but it's been exploited) I've been learning more about femininity..awesome timing.

Thank you John, I love your manly courage and passion to speak up for the children especially being sexually brainwashed today! The craziness of depravity and sexual gender confusion being pushed at the moment is madness! I always stood up for homosexual friends decades ago when it was NOT fashionable, so I feel I can say that whats going on now is an attack on our happiness and balance as a yin yang world. There's always meant to be minorities who provide colour and difference, but a lot of born-gay people are disgusted with the brainwashing trends of gayness also.
