It took me awhile after listening to this podcast to realize I knew Angela in middle school. It's so awesome to see her transformation and to hear the wise words of these women. I came to Christianity in my 20's as well - I relate to their stories so much and having this podcast in my life is so helpful. Keep on doing the good work!

Ari's comment about surrendering fully to the Lord in your waiting season is 🔥 Yes and AMEN, ladies! I can attest to the truth of that. I just got out of a relationship I thought was going to end up in marriage. We had struggled after about 7 months and we started to slip from god and health. A few weeks ago I told her how I felt and that I wanted god to come first in our relationship. She being 21 decided she wanted to be 21 and do that whole party scene. Since we broke up I was alone at my baptism and it’s been so hard praying for her. I constantly think about her and pray for her because I still love her. But after realizing that all the “lonely” moments in my life god was there I just couldn’t hear him. I pray she finds that same comfort.

“Rejection is God’s redirection” oof. That hit. Also, when Angela said she doesn’t believe in rejection, because it’s not her fault If she’s not the right person for someone… that is so good! ❤ I wanted to add though, that sometimes God puts an unbeliever in your life as your partner. It’s not always equally yoked. I’ve prayed about this a lot too. Especially if you found your relationship with Jesus while in an unequally yoked relationship. God has His reasons for this which I can’t understand but He knows better. You just have to make sure this is what God wants and allow Him to work. My partner encourages my faith, even if he isn’t Christian “yet” and do note, the Bible does talk about unequally yoked relationships in Corinthians. - Lee Strobel’s wife was a Christian and he was atheist. Eventually God brought Lee to Himself.

Proverbs 7:8-12 “He was crossing the street near the house of an immoral woman, strolling down the path by her house. It was at twilight, in the evening, as deep darkness fell. The woman approached him, seductively dressed and sly of heart. She was the brash, rebellious type, never content to stay at home. Do you know why Jesus died the way he did? The 2 hands nailed to the cross were the 2 hands of Adam and Eve who took the knowledge of good and evil for themselves, not knowing the infectionof sin would spread to everyone. The nail in the feet was the feet that ran away in shame when they realized what had happened with their relationship w God after failing, although God was willing to forgive them. The whips on his back was for the burden of OUR sins he carried to the cross, the crown of thorns was the weight of sin pushed down on his head for us, the spear in the rib was for the rib he took to make a wife for adam who deceived him into her sin. The vinegar he drank was the taste of sin thats bitter when u drink it. These girls got their heads on straight. Women ask..."where are the real men anymore?" Ill tell u where we went. To the cross...look there ull find us.

But there's a lot of scholars who think he was married because of his status as a Pharisee back then since he was on the path of becoming a Sanhedrin. And one the rules to become a Sanhedrin you had to be married. So, maybe he was married and she passdd away or close to being married but did not get the chance to.

Whenever I think of the ideal masculine man, I think of Aragorn from Lord of the Rings (in addition to Jesus). He is humble and he knows where he belongs, he has emotions that he feels, and he defends the people he cares about. I strive to be masculine, but I don't think there is an *ideal* masculine man just like there's no *ideal* feminine woman. I feel like I'm very in touch with my "feminine" side and am in touch with my emotions, but if anything I think that makes me more masculine.

You girls talked about respect a lot, well you need 2 show how 2 respect the Lord Jesus Christ by calling him as who he is, not by calling him as Jesue. Read these verses carefully & prayerfully Acts 11:17, Acts 15:11, Acts 16:31, Acts 28:31, Romans 1:7, Romans 13:14, 1 Corinthians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 16:22, 2 Corinthians 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 1:2, Ephesians 6:23, Philippians 1:2, Philippians 3:20, Colossians 1:2, 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 2 Thessalonians 1:1, 2 Thessalonians 1:2, 2 Thessalonians 1:12, 1 Timothy 5:21, 2 Timothy 4:1, 2 Timothy 4:22, Titus 1:4, Philemon 1:3, James 1:1, 2 John 1:3 I would like 2 see you make a video on why is more appropriate 2 call our Savior & Lord with his full name as the Lord Jesus Christ & not as Jesus.

Angela, the Scripture actually says, "But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion." (1 Corinthians 7:9). Why did you change "passion" to "alone" in your word choice when you said "literally" which is not true literally in the Bible, as that is not being faithful to Scripture if you did that on purpose. Marriage without passion sounds very uninteresting. Passion is a part of the book detailing marriage, which is Song of Songs. Ladies, godly men want love also, you are missing the Scripture that says: "Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands..." (Titus 2:4) You think I want to get married just for respect? No, I will not marry a woman who does not love me.

A man is to me Is to be all I can be Yes but in life it seems unimaginable Do you think that is true, maybe or probably, you are trying to eat an elephant in one bite maybe two. It is the details you see and being led by HIS HEART OF TRUTH. how then could it be that his love not be true. Well listen to me. You will never make it to the top of the heap, for we are all crabs through and through. Well except me lol Where I sound like a narcissist through and through. That is why we daily read. His BOOK OF TRUTH HUMILITY. FOR MY DAY IS WASHING FEET. for we are all friends then we are not, because I can not pretend. I am all in you see. I even a title bestowed to me. Oh how they hated Him and now they can hate me. For if nothing else I have CHARACTER THROUGH AND THROUGH. YOU SEE CHARACTER IS NOT FREE. IT IS getting your ass handed to thee. Getting up and smiling and ask for another you see. Where are all my military. They know you can not fill a full cup. They rip you down and humiliate and shame you. As they push your body to such pain that never ever feels like it will end. What do you do, you have hell before you and I the rear view. You see a plowed NEVER looks BACK at his wake,, so someone figured out using a mirror was a great demidy for that. So as Pat Benatar sang so beautifully Love is Battle Field. Yes it will hurt for there are such highs you see. Well that is how it is for me. I have been the Samarian woman. Married but not. I have given everything. And I still believe, after all they are just test for my end game of all. I Refuse to settle for anything less than what HE INTENDED OF ME. even though I want to scream are you kidding me. Intent and prophecy. What do YOU SANT FROM me. For I am incomplete just a man. You see we are not complete as individuals. It is in the union of marriage that we become one. Then we have Genesis 3:15. He filled her EMNITY I mean really, what how can this be true. EMNITY is, well spite towards he. As you can see, running around being a thorn in our side since that day. It is true. But do you see the Irony of the Spear of Destiny Was or is just a bigger thorn placed where a rib might have grew. Or is it me and my insanity in this game called life. Where I am a pawn, no more than you. Yes I have one purpose you see. Just stand and be true. Yes He might request me to step forward or go diagonally. There is just no back for what's the use. All that remain are memories of a broken man who died so many times to be, this version of me who stands before you. I am nothing but me. That's why I am who HE SAYS I am. If he wants to call me BLESSED well it could be you. All I did is believe. Sitting by a fire texting on a phone. What do you have in your hand like me. Well Moses had a staff of wood and mine is silicone. I hope you can see that is you word that defines you. If you were to meet me and have been around me you will notice a stillness that is true. I have learned not to speak for we still don't see the power of the tongue and oh the woe and pain it will do. Please don't think I'll of me I like to have fun through and through.. it is that this is a time of such woe pain and suffering my heart breaks just watching the insanity. So stuck on pride to not just see the truth. THIS LIFE IS THE LIE STAIND got it close With SOMETHING TO REMIND YOU. but everyone refuses to see The intent of Jeremiah 29 11 Or is it just me. So here we are on this paved path of good intention. Where every good deed is punished and oh the fear of prophecy. The world is in a death flush and no one is doing anything. He said use what is in your hand. So here I am. You can knock me off my card board box that's fine life has tried to crush me and well. Go ahead if you feel lucky for ZIT IS WRITTEN NO WEAPON FORMED, THOW IT MAY FORM, SHALL PROSPER and besides if You read Zephaniah chapter 3, Ya that guy being sifted. Ya that was me. I can tell of the pain of stretching my faith and how to see the word Hope and I would begin to wrap for you know hope DEFERRED I still patiently wait for His command here to date. For what I am unsure. I am sure it will some valley of doom and gloom and yes my perryl or fate. I don't know. That is not my job. He is the HEAD and I am HIS HEEL. for we our made in HIS iMAGE only the footstool has a tail of deceit. Oh the lies of that theif. I pray for him to be handed to me. You see that is what my Father before did. You might know him, David for I am of the Tribe of DANIAL. A Spoken word His REMNANT I SHALL NOT RETURN VOID so I pray that He Blessed you with eyes to see for I do not have the tears to see this through. I just can not watch idly as that theif steals innocence from any of you. I just don't see it in anymore than just a few. I never fit in and I see that is just my reality Yay me I am stuck with you. Don't get all pissy. He said the same thing when the father complained his boy was still possessed For their lack of faith. So please pray for my heart as I pray for your soul. Sound like a good deal I'd say so. So let us agree That the HOLY BIBLE IS HIS LAW WHICH HOLDS HIS TEN COMMANDMENTS WHICH YOU SHALL FOLLOW JUST humble yourself.. imagine being a sugar ant, tiny tiny tiny ant. Literally you could and I have killed 1000 s with one hand. Then HE is let say me just cause I am a living Light on a hill being 6'6" and change So you are that mustard seed of faith. So all you need to do no is repeat a load after me IN THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST I PRAY FILLED WITH THE AIR THE HOLY SPIRIT ON MY BREATH IN AGREEMENT WITH HIS TRUTH WRITTEN IN HEAVEN I PRAY OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN HOLLOWED BE THY NAME THY KINGDOM COME THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE HUMBLY PRAY FOR AND FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US AND LEAD US NOT INTO AGREEMENT WITH EVIL OR TEMPTATION AND DELIVER US FROM EVÉRY EVIL FOR YHY KINGDOM YHY POWER YHY GLORY BE YOUR'S NOW AND FOREVER CLEANSED IN THE BLOOD SPILT AT CALVARY IN AGREEMENT WITH HIS TRUTH WRITTEN IN HEAVEN AMEN

I'm on a break from my guy of almost 3 years...He's a loving Christian and in many ways ACTS like he wants a committed relationship with me but when I ask him about what he wants or how he sees this relationship long-term he cannot answer me. He goes in circles; and sometimes, rather than having a sincere conversation--will deflect his fears/reservations onto me, accusing me of pressuring him. I've tried to be patient....but after 2+ years shouldn't we be on the same page by now? I keep feeling guilty about initiating the break but I have to keep reminding myself I did this for the right reasons.

I Had someone say that, true love is when you pick a partner you would go to war beside and not battle with. Why would you stand next to someone who wants to battle you like your the enemy ? “

“For she cares nothing about the path to life. She staggers down a crooked trail and doesn’t realize it. So now, my sons, listen to me. Never stray from what I am about to say: Stay away from her! Don’t go near the door of her house!” - Proverbs 5:6 Her house is the road to the grave. Her bedroom is the den of death. - Proverbs 7:27

It is IMPOSSIBLE for a man to take care of a woman's emotional and spiritual needs if he is not 1000% submitted unto GOD. Period! 1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

I remember when I was in the thick of my addiction to opioids and my husband would put me down for being in that situation in the first place and he would say things like this could never be me because I know how to put some thing down when I'm done with it and he basically compare himself to me all the time. I got used to hearing him praise himself a lot. But I remember the withdraws were so bad and I really just needed support and even if that was just him sitting beside me and he couldn't do it because it would frustrate him.

I have a question as someone in a relationship. My boyfriend and I are Christian’s. However he grew up in a church. I did not. God has always been a big Part of his life and I started my journey in 2020 all In. He has a testimony he will give soon but he wants to bring up an Ex. He was goin through heavy heavy things at the time when that person was around going through things as in depression, & that person seemed to save his life. And that’s why he’s still here. It’s crazy to think about. I don’t like the idea of him bringing that person up. However his mindset is bringing that person up because he feels God spoke to him through her so he wants to bring awareness on how God uses people. Any thoughts ? He is going to want to refer to the ex as just a person to not give it out in public. However idk how I feel about it. Id appreciate if Christian’s can help me with some insight ❤️
