Thank you for sharing the provenance of the wooden holder. Nana sounds like a dear, dear woman and I'm glad you have those remembrances of her. I have several pieces from my father's mother, who I called Nana. :-) One of pieces is a two-tiered wooden box that contained all the supplies necessary to do allergy testing. I keep my makeup in it.

This week has not been my week, it's been really depressing and has had me wrung out. I found out on Monday that a friend of mine passed away from cancer at only 14 years old (I've known her for many many years, since like 2006) and went to her viewing tonight. This video was perfectly posted and definitely a huge help to getting to a better head space. Thank you from across the pond for your soothing demeanor and calming effect Emma ❤️❤️

What an amazing ASMR video. Wow, I’ve seen so many but this one is an absolute masterpiece. The slow and gentle hand movements, cleaning the brushes, treating them and the paper towel with soft care. The gentle tap on the ceramic bowl. And of course your wonderful, soft whisper voice. Just perfect ❤️ And the pauses in between sentences! That gives the most tingles for me! You are gifted, thank you! 💕

There's a school near me where I go to the clinic regularly. It's a fraction of the cost so if you're on a budget you might try searching for a school in your area. I've learned that long term anger damages the liver and eventually the heart. The acupuncturists settle the liver heat and calm the heart and generally assist in letting go of the anger. I wish you both the best.

I wonder if you have ever thought to write down all of your special memories and stories of her, or considered writing a book about who she was in your life. Thank you so much for the amazing video. I just had THE most busy day ever! I had to wake up at 5:55 to get to school early for my symphony practice at 7:45 (I play the violin)! I like to have lots of time to do my makeup which is why I had to wake up so early. Then during that SAME morning, I had to head downstairs for my fashion show practice (I'm a runway model in the school's UN fashion show charity event). Then I had Business and ASL which were easy luckily! Then I had lunch and I had to finish my french assignment that I forgot about, and then later realized that I had done the wrong questions. My exhaustion hit me during math class and I practically dropped dead omg. Then I had tutoring until 6. Now I'm practicing for my violin test where I have to play a super hard song 😭😭! Luckily I got home to see yet another amazing video. Sorry for the paragraph lol. But this video is a huge alleviation of my stress from the day. You really do work magic ❤❤❤😘 Love you Emma

This is such a lovely video! Maybe it's me, but I feel like your voice is softer in this than it's been in your last couple of videos. Maybe it's because it's a more relaxed atmosphere in the video and your words are more random and the natural flow of the words as opposed to something being read out loud f.ex. is more relaxing to me. I don't know, but either way I love this video!

Stephanie Pate We call them paper towels too but some people say kitchen roll, I guess it's the association that it solely belongs in the kitchen and I think if you buy a store's own brand product it says kitchen roll on the box so blame the marketing people of Britain!

Stephanie Pate I think it's because we want to differentiate between kitchen paper towels (kitchen roll) and the little folded paper towels to dry your hands that are found in public lavatories.
