We were also there for 3 weeks in July. The worse mosquitoes were only at the Wrangell-St Elias visitor center. Everyone warned us about these pesky mosquitoes but we were never bothered by them. Perhaps all the rain kept them away from us. We think the Spinach Bread and lemonade in Talkeetna was so good. A highlight of the trip! Glad we saw your video of the Salmon at Valdez. We must have been there a couple of weeks before you as we only saw the sea lions and salmon at the weir, not all over the ground. Enjoying your trip videos.

That’s awesome! Did you fly into Alaska or drive in? The worst mosquitoes for us were on the Dalton Highway. So bad!! Oh yea the stench of all the salmon on the ground was intense. It was an awesome stop to see all the wildlife though. Did you see any bears there?

@@NickandJulie Flew from Phoenix. Rented Cruise America 25’. Piece of junk. But, it got us over 2000 miles in 3 weeks. Never saw a bear except in captivity

@@chuckborghoff8443 I bet it was nice to escape the Phoenix heat for a bit and in such a gorgeous place! Like you said at least it got you around and you saw a good portion of Alaska.

too bad you couldn't get all the way to Eilison visitors center ( i used to work there for 6 summers). best view of Denali in the park ( when the weather cooperates)

Yea it was disappointing but what can you do. It’s been closed off at mile 43 for a few years now. Maybe next year they’ll reopen??? Who knows. But that’s pretty awesome to have worked in Denali NP for 6 summers! We got some epic views of Denali from Talkeetna and off the highway. You’ll have to watch the next couple videos for it. The next one will be the Savage Alpine trail.

Do you think if one were to rest in consciousness that an awakening could happen?

Personally, no. There is no true awakening apart from God.
