I added book recommendations at the end of the episode, per previous comments. Any other suggestions? This takes a ridiculously long time to produce, so any comments go a long way... Thanks! :)

Great series! I wish you could put more content out quicker, but I know these things take some time. The production quality is great, but do you think you could try and prioritize quantity over a bit of production quality?

Just found your channel it’s cool to see an actual Philosophy channel that doesn’t get bogged down in modern politics (ala PhilosophyTube). Very well put together and researched, I’m sure you’ll get bigger. You kind of remind me of channels like Religion For Breakfast but for Philosophy. I got my bachelors in Philosophy, but went into law after, so KZitem videos like this help me keep my Philosophy knowledge sharp.

I knew the word "manichean"...and I think I looked up the definition/origin once, but I must have forgotten, because it was interesting to hear that it had its origin in a rather popular religious tradition. I think I need to do some more reading on that - thanks!

I’m influenced a lot by Plato, Augustine, and Kant. And hydro-Christianity which broke away from an Aristotelian framework of time. The belief in one God and that man made in his image led men to develop a method to do so, therefore become scientific and endowed with the faculties of the spark of divinity able to to discover the Mind of God in the natural world even in his fallen state

@@philosofried710 I love some points by decartes, but Kant for sure was a mind warp to read, but he’s extremely fundamental. As an empiricist, I have to thank Hume. Hypothetically speaking, Without his hard doubts Kant would not have written in response to Hume’s skepticism ! What do you think ? :)

St. AuGUSTin (correct pronunciation), Augustine. The Mind of God, yes precisely. He actually is great because he said that the church should never have been an institution of the state let alone to eventually become a state in and of itself

In examining the origins of Christianity how can you ascribe its origins as ZoroAstrian rather than Judaism ? How can you not mention the likes of Abraham …. Moses … ? And their clear origins for Christianity is focus was Jewish himself ???

The study of God - the Infinity, Singularity of Quantum Cosmology that is transcendent of all space-time, is that of the Hebrews who spoke of the heaven of the heaven of heavens. And the logos became flesh came to us bringing heaven to Earth and the infinity show us who he is by showing us the perfect virtue of love by enduring hell on the cross to die for those He loved and reunited and restored his people back to the Mind and presence of Himself. the singularity is like a loving father and mother of the beginning of the creation, holds us in the infinity of his love. To understand Christianity we have to understand ll temple Judaism and stoic philosophy in a Greco-Roman cultural, religious and social/moral context
