In this video I show you my progress on remaking my very last student project from UE 4.26 to UE 5.0.
What I did to this point:
-Export of the assets from UE4 project
-Reorganize the assets in a folder
-Import the assets in UE5
-Redo and optimize the materials
-Rebuilt the levels (Hangar + Arena)
-Inputs for keyboard + mouse and controller
-Player movement in C++
What is next:
-Weapons system (attack, secondary attack, ammo management, animations, melee combat, inventory...)
-AI (using Behavior Tree)
-Wave system
-UI
-Hangar level (main menu with possibility of buying and upgrading your character/weapons)
