Ok, I’m back here after having watched the Utopia IV linked video. I wasn’t even bothered by it being a machine for self promotion of their business. It’s a stunning home on the water, and hats of to them for it being a home on the water it really is a pleasure and beautiful yacht. 🤔 Now to just win that big euromillions jackpot and get to work on designing my 1930’s streamline modern inspired Art Deco yacht 😃

Yachts For Sale Sadly true. I mean, I still kinda get it when it’s all about the sensationalism and attracting headlines and resulting overtopped prices they’re writing about. But sometimes they make it seem like you could get a 150m mega yacht for 3 million and a small bottle of champagne...

Could be one of several regarding the placement / design of the camera in the bow. The overall design makes me think of Silver Surfer and his "board". The camera and ring immediately around it look like the Arc reactor from Iron Man. The "engraving" in the silver/gray panel _almost_ looks like early Transformers.

Elie Nehme I would say 40 ft but anything of a comfortable living size would be impractical. You would have to maintain the yacht daily, be qualified as an engineer and captain alongside the intense cleaning and care that a yacht requires and mooring would be nearly impossible on your own with anything bigger. You wouldn’t enjoy your time is what I’m saying. However, in terms of sailing boats you could probably get away with slightly bigger.

@@omeproductions1392 Not only all that but you would need minimum 3 people including yourself to do any traveling beyond simple day-excursions because you need 24-hour coverage of wheel-watch duty. After 48 hours it would be a total grind, thereby defeating the purpose of owning a yacht. I remember two weeks of sailing around BVI with the wife and one leg was more than just an afternoon - it got a little weary with only me qualified to be behind the binnacle. Even letting Captain Otto take the helm still requires you to still be on your guard spotting other boats, reefs, etc. My brother and I did pretty well handling his 42' Cheoy-Lee ketch but there's no way we could handle a multi-day transoceanic without at least 2 more aboard with the same knowledge of the boat stem-to-stern and pulling 6-on-6-off shifts.

A company that shows diversity, personal pride and cohesive harmony with their clients will always jump to the front within their selected business ventures. Rossinavi has done this and will keep growing in a positive direction! Their yachts are distinctive and futuristic! Thanks for 'showcasing' this one David. Cheers!

Dumb question: Suppose that I have ridiculously rich friends who invite me onto their gigayacht for a week-long cruise through the Grenadines. At the cruise end, am I expected to tip the staff? Having only cruised on commercial cruise lines (where tipping is almost mandatory) I wouldn't want to appear either cheap and/or stupid.
@Yachtsforsaleblog
5 жыл бұрын
Actually not a dumb question at all! Most yacht owners understand their friends financial position, and if they invited friends on board who have a more normal economic level I doubt they would expect them to tip the crew. They would normally leave the tip for the crew themselves. When you go on a cruise you are paying for it yourself, so the tip would also come from you. However, if you are invited on board a yacht at somebody else's expense I don't believe a tip would be expected from you.

Most Yacht builders do have a certain aesthetic though. I'm far from being an expert on Yachts but I've found that if you look closely at the construction of the vessel, especially window placement and deck lines, you can tell roughly when the Yacht was built and what geographical area it was built in. Take Amels and Feadship, 2 great builders, but they carry the same lines, especially their older Yachts, and very recognizable as Dutch. Same goes for Lurrsen, Bennetti, even Nordhaven that makes trawler/explorers... you can see the cultural fingerprints in nearly all of their Yachts. Edit: It has been getting more difficult to recognize who built what over the last decade or so and that's a good thing.
