Good post man, I'm currently considering this or night hotel at Sukhumvit 15 for my upcoming trip. Can't decide which one is better. Any suggestions?

Great location, not far from Benchakitti Park. I think the noodles at breakfast looked good..🙂. Cost saving in F&B is a double edged sword. I discussed this with a GM at a Hilton. Maybe its better to adjust prices, the market can often handle it? Repeat customers dont like negative surprises and deterioating quality. Speaking about Bangkok. Have you tried the new Hyatt Regency on Sukhumvit? Cheers👍.

As long as you are not known for being a low cost hotel I think it’s definitely better to adjust prices. In this case I think the change of service level depends on the change of GM that was done just before the pandemic. The pandemic itself probably forced them to make cost cuts as well. But hopefully the Rembrandt will regain its former levels all over again, once upon a time it was a place I used to highly enjoy. Regarding Hyatt Regency it’s definitely on my to do list!

Was here a long time ago on a incentive. It looks so dreaded now. This was a luxury hotel . I cannot imagine that a incentive organizer would use this place for a event now.

@@woutergijs5246Faded old Hotels have a certain charm. Hotelrooms that not look like a daycare center with minimalistic Ikea-like blond furniture? Cheers.

Did you had free Breakfast at the Red Chillys Restaurant on the Mezanine floor? Did you visit the Indian Restaurant "Rangmahal" on the top..

I paid for the breakfast, and didn’t visit Rangmahal on this visit, but have visited before. Excellent Indian food!
